Around the same, and both of them probably have some bitterness from their father situations. In pop-culture I think LeBron will be remembered as more of a douche simply because "The Decision" and "Taking my talents to South Beach" have become bad jokes everyone can laugh at

MJ is more open and even viscous about his douche ness, while LeBron is more unaware, spoiled, almost passive aggressive, and surrounds himself with douches. IIRC there was even an ESPN story about how LeBron and his crew treat clubs and their workers poorly

MJ's already been covered in the thread so here we go on LBJ:

-LeBron is above criticism even constructive criticism from his team and coach. See Delonte West and the Cavs leading on about how everyone has to own up for their actions except LeBron. That's arguably worse than being an alpha prick like MJ who fought teammates to get things done.

-Held a reality TV show farce aka The Decision that was like a ratings nuke for Cleveland. Ohio freaking loved LeBron and yes LeBron basically stabbed them in the back on TV, making people forget or dismiss the donation aspect of the show. Will never see something like that again, that took douche to an epic level that even Kanye West would be shocked at. Whereas MJ tried to help struggling clubs like the Wizards and Bobcats (lol)

-Has a posse that follows and works for him, but not even Nike likes them or LeBron's decision to use them. Back in the LeBron Sweepstakes, other franchises even the Heat wanted to put their foot down on adding those guys to the payroll. MJ has his own bodyguards he can't leave the house without, but wasn't handed millions in high school and didn't really have such a posse earlier IIRC

-Two kids, one where he's a teen, still not even technically married yet to Gloria. Yea yea poor rich kids but kind of interesting considering his own fatherless upbringing. MJ did divorce not too long ago and it was for record breaking $$$

And now time to take a cold shower after getting too much into TMZ psycho analysis armchair stuff

And all that said and done, both of these guys donate millions and countless hours to help society in one way or another, on and off the court

All that matters is that Jordan is more beautiful than LeBron. That's it!

This alone makes him a better person, a good person, a demi-god.

This is the morality of the Ancient Greeks of the classical era, and they are the best who have ever lived.

They both do ridiculous amount of charity stuff (especially MJ). More than everyone on this foum will do in their lifetimes, combined.

Jordan sucker-punched Steve Kerr. Lebron sucker-punched an entire city.

Jordan attacked people who weren't playing hard. Lebron attacked the fans who paid his salary.

End of discussion.

(and we'll see what else has come up about Lebron when he's 35 as Jordan was when the Bulls broke-up)

All the talk about Jordan being a bad person is kind of unfounded. Of all the negative stories of him as a person, NO ONE that has known him and been around him alot has came out said he was this horrible person. They've said he's had his issues and that he wasn't always a nice and perfect person, but even people like Horace Grant and Bill Cartwright who would get alot of sh*t from Jordan when they played have never came out and blasted him even all these years later. For the most part, his teammates have more good to say about him then bad.

LeBron had every right and reason to leave Cleveland. The fanbase embarassed themselves when he left.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

What I find funny about all this "MJ was a douche" nonsense is, it's mostly coming from dudes who never watched him or Lebron/Kobe homers trying to hype their guy up. How the hell are any of us supposed to know how people we've never met, and most likely never will meet, really are?

Kobe being charged with rape is worse than anything MJ has done. Lebron told his mom to sit her ass down on national TV. Magic whored around and caught an incurable disease. Hell, Larry Bird has a grown daughter whose life he's never tried to be a part of. Doesn't make me think anything less of them, nor waste time starting threads talking about how terrible people they are.

This is some TMZ ish here.
