I can't see the game... but it appears Andrew Luck is completely destroying the Rams.

Good to see this posted, pretty big flynn homer here but Wilson looks much better (TO did drop a Flynn TD last night). Wilson looks like Seneca Wallace during his prime days at ISU out there. Making plays and not afraid in the slightest to push the ball down the field. Very composed and fairly accurate in his throws. I would be surprised if the coaches don't give Wilson at least a rep or two with the first team in the coming weeks.

If Wilson wins the starting job, maybe we could trade a low draft pick to get Flynn back!

Damn, you've got to be pretty irritated if you're Flynn. You go to Seattle to get a chance to start, and so many are pining for your rookie backup to take you're job before you even have a chance to get acclimated to your new surroundings.

After losing Levi brown for the year the cardinals are considering starting Darren college at left tackle... Yikes

Wasn't he drafted as a tackle?

That sounds like bad news for them. Very, very bad news.

Sounds like Clifton could also be a possibility for the cards. It kinda puts our depth issues at backup qb and lt into perspective. The cards starting situation at both positions isn't much better than the packs second string.

They should get Yi's chair to play LT, IMO.

Would be sturdy and reliable. Plus, one ought not discount the possibility of premier pass rushers tripping over some part of the chair during their pursuit of the qb. From a chemistry standpoint, Yi's chair will always be willing to lend support to those in the locker room, just don't expect much from it in terms of being a vocal leader. Yi's chair chooses to lead by example rather than words.

In other news:

point 1 - Akumara is perceived as soft by his teammates
point 2 - he is being thrown in ice baths because of this perception (lol worthy in its own right)
????
point 4 - what will happen to gay players!?!?

I hate florio.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
In light of Jaguars owner Shad Khan's recent public remarks, Jacksonville's RB Maurice Jones-Drew is now open to being traded, per source.

Think we would have any interest? Probably not after signing Benson. MJD would be such a great fit though. What do you think it would take to get him?

I had two immediate thoughts when I heard this:

1. If we still feel concerned about our pass protection, then bringing in a dynamic running back could help alleviate some of the pressure Rodgers is going to face. It forces teams to be honest. It takes our offense from great to nearly unstoppable.

2. That being said, I'm guessing the Jags would want multiple picks and he'd want an extension. I'm sure we could find a way to fit him in cap-wise, even if we have to restructure elsewhere. But I don't think the assets it would take to bring in MJD would be worth it considering the pass-heavy nature of our offense. That being said, if we could get him for a reasonable price, I'm not going to say no.
