I'm familiar with Dantley and could have sworn he was picked already, and maybe Reggie's shooting is best served in the starting lineup, but Dantley was too good to pass up this late in the draft. I mean I have Steve Nash back there who can shoot lights out. There aren't many players in NBA history who averaged 30 points a game 3 seasons in a row. I don't think Dantley is too much of a burden on a team considering Utah nearly made the NBA finals with Dantley scoring 32 points a game in the playoffs. Anyways every single pick that I have made has been scrutinized so I must be doing something right.

Anyway, about to break several people's hearts with this one. This player was selected in the 4th round of the 1985 draft, but the pick was later voided because he was under 21 at the time. Then he was selected again in the first round a few years later by Portland. I'm taking 1997-1998 Arvydas Sabonis, one of my all time favorite players, as my deep sleeper and backup C. A very underrated defender, Sabonis is just as unique as Dantley, as he was 7' 3" but could do it all, from court vision to shooting. Also continuing the trend of everyone on my team being a good to great free throw shooter (i may refuse to use the like gana category!)

G: Steve Nash (18.6 PPG, 11.6 APG, 53% FG, 45% 3PT, 90% FT)
G: Adrian Dantley (30.7 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 4.8 APG, 58% FG, 85% FT)
F: Scottie Pippen (22.0 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 5.6 APG, 2.9 SPG, 50% FG)
F: Charles Barkley (25.6 PPG, 12.2 RPG, 5.1 APG, 1.6 SPG, 52% FG)
C: Ming Yao (22.0 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 2.0 BPG, 50% FG, 85% FT, Really Tall)

Bench:
G: Reggie Miller (24.6 PPG, 3.8 APG, 3.6 RPG, 51% FG, 42% 3PT, 86% FT)
C: Arvydas Sabonis (16.0 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 3.0 APG, 49% FG, 80% FT)

Its also the only category Sabonis fits in to, because I was distraught when I realized there was no category for him, and then that little gem on basketball reference at the bottom of the page ("selected in 4th round by atlanta hawks in 1985 draft") popped up.

Double #s - player must have worn a double # during at least one season (i.e: 00, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55…)

BTW,all the other players drafted in double # fit the criteria.
