Bismack Biyombo?
I think he would be a good fit for our team. Even tho he has no offensive game he is an athletic shotblocker, very simalar to ibaka. Although he is a project he gives a defensive presence in the middle right away. Last season i think he showed great potential.
Personally i would be perfectly fine with giving up dwill for this guy.

But would the Bobcats?
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

Ibaka has a very nice, reliable mid-range game, something I would bet my right pinky toe Bismack will never develop.

I'd like Bismack on this team but I'm sure Charlotte's asking price would be way more than Kahn would (and should) give up.

I think he's too far away from being a key contributor for a playoff team. Let's just go after him in four years when he's ready.

Re: Bismack Biyombo?
Interesting... I thought there would be more takers... A lot of people wanted to trade down last year and take him. He would compliment the team pretty well and receive some easy points thanks to Rubio & Shved.
I think the Bobcats would want too much now, ie DW probably wouldn't be enough.
Maybe Ekpe Udoh could be had for less with the same skills (arguably better offensively)?

I'd swap DWill for Biyombo and a 1st round pick with protections.

Who wouldn't? (Charlotte is the answer)

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Re: Bismack Biyombo?
I'm cool with DWill but I'd do a straight swap if they would. I could probably be talked into sweetening the pot a little too.
Not sure CHA would.

Re: Bismack Biyombo?
DWill needs to prove more first. Biyombo, rightly or wrongly, has a name that people know and associate value with. If DWill comes on strong, they might do it. Of course, at that point, we would be wise to demand a pick as well.

Biyombo showed a lot of promise last year as a shot blocker and rebounder. I think D-will needs to prove himself more before he'd be considered an equal swap for the young big man.

Biyombo was one of the worst players in the league last year and was on the worst team of all time. He has a ton of potential, but to act like he's got more value than Williams is flat out ridiculous.

That's not correct. Biyombo after the all-star game put up 6.6/7.1/2bpg in 29mpg. He had nine games of 4+ blocks and two 7 block games. For a 19 year old coming from the Spanish minor league to the NBA, that's pretty impressive.
Considering that he's got lots of room to go and is a lock to be a defensive stud in the middle I'd say that he isn't viewed as "one of the worst players" in the NBA. I'm quite certain that most would view his rookie year as much more successful than Williams, who was considered to be more NBA ready and yet still had major struggles and didn't get much playing time, even on a team that needed strong play at the SF position.
Based on last year, Biyombo has more value than Williams. If the trend continues, and Biyombo becomes an Ibaka like presence on defense then the gap will just widen.

A big reason I dont want him is because our biggest need now is a SF, which Dwill is trying to become, We dont need a PF/C for the future we got Pek n Love.

I agree! Both teams have the guys they need based on roster needs.
Hopefully D-Will has a great season and becomes that scoring SF with some power to his game.
