I was just pointing out that all of those domestic asians don't really matter. I also doubt those Taiwan or Chinese Sponsors help much. It is not like MSG or the Knicks lack sponsors. When you have big american companies offering +10m sponsorships to MSG, is there any room left for these small Taiwanese companies to offer 1-2 millions?

Cultural bias much dont u think??

this is one of the companies that left the knicks and is now with the rockets. it doesnt sound like it is a 1-2mill company but i am not a business expert so i maybe wrong. do you have a link that says that these taiwanese companies are small businesses & only offer 1-2 mill ?? dont get me wrong msg doesn't lack sponsors but i am just stating that to me you are operating under a american bias lol. Acer also dropped the knicks as well they were founded in taiwan and i dont think you can call them a small company, they were founded in taiwan as well.

"Known and trusted by billions of customers around the world, Maxxis offers high-quality tire products for cars and light trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, ATVs, trailers, karts, and lawn and garden care. Maxxis was founded in Taiwan in 1967, and is today one of the largest and most respected tire companies in the world. Operating in Asia, Europe, North America and South America, Maxxis distributes its products in approximately 170 countries and employs more than 22,000 people. Creating and retaining lifelong customers has been instrumental in Maxxis’ steady growth. Customers trust Maxxis tires during every stage of their lives, from those first childhood bike rides through changing careers, modes of transportation, and interests – and they know that Maxxis will be there when the time comes for their own children to choose tires."

what cultural bias? Taiwan's GDP is 500 Billions. US's GDP is 15 Trillions. Is it not safe to assume that on average, most Taiwanese companies are alot smaller than those in the US? Maxxis's revenue is 2 Billions. Chase's revenue is what? 100 Billions maybe? Chase is paying the knicks 30millions a year. How much you think Maxxis can afford?

Stock will fall after earnings though you can bet on that, put in that stop order soon

And I'm out. I should've gotten a better premium but there's just not much volume for Jan. 2013 options ($30 strike). With that said I made out pretty well.

Bought the options at $4.79 and sold today for $12.50. The fair value is more like $13.50 but I just wanted to get out and take my gains. My only regret is not having bought more options.

And thanks again DocZaius for reminding me that earnings were on the way. Would've left some money on the table! Now I just have to decide if I go back in or not.

Good move, I saw the option chain jump $3.50 after a string of inactivity.

Usually after earnings with an expiration approaching, the option is in a race against time and it's value starts depreciating very fast, even if the stock goes up. Being already deep in the money, volume will be scarce.

Better to get out early than to wait for the final bell to toll.

If you own enough can u make decisions?

Nope, you need majority control to make decisions

So does would that include owning 51% of the shares?

Saw on Twitter about How Dolan's Wealth Quadrupled since the Stock went Public in 2010

When Lebron Spurned us the Stock was $22

When Lin Left the Stock was around $34

Right Now the Stock is at $78

We could have gotten Rich of Jimmy
