I had Mason pegged for my deep sleeper for a while and almost selected him a couple of times but kept putting it off.

Mistake on my half, he was too good to last much longer.

I want to pick either Greg Williams or Craig Bradley for my next pick because Williams is the dirtiest, most disgraceful player ever to play a sport and Bradley is the biggest receiver since gay porn went main stream.

I need some grunt and some fluff on my team as opposed to the champs I currently have.

Man those were the days.
Greg Williams, too fat, too slow, too old, too good.
I can understand other team fans hating him though, but hey, he's a 2 time Brownlow medallist.

Bradley was one of the hardest runners you will see, apparently he is still fit, every rookie player who comes to the team has to go up against Bradley in a distance run and he still kicks their asses.

Hi, I'm filling in for Lamar. He wanted to take Andrew Toney from the 6th man category and Anthony Mason from "Sleeper" category. I guess Mason is already taken, so I'll come back later with the second pick.

I'm actually surprised That Lamar would go with an arse clown like sheed.

Didn't think he would be a Lamar type of baller.

An arse clown is an arse clown no matter how many wrestling belts he puts around his waste.

Difference between Ass Clowns like Sheed and a lot of others is that Sheed had issues with his attitude in regards to team play, effort, conditioning, and off the court issues.

He had too much talent to be a career 15/7 (prime 19/8) guy and should have gotten much more out of himself. By the time he had his best team years, his statistical production was underwhelming

doesn't make his 19/8 worth any less just because he could have had more points.

You don't get it, and that's okay.

This is where the discussion ends.

During a private team meeting the team expressed a need for a pure shooter. On that note we select 2005-06 Michael Redd for the March Madness category.

Really? I guess I thought that Mason is very underrated, since I was sure that nobody would grab him before me in this round. I was even a bit concerned that it would be dumb passing up Sheed and two other great power forwards for Mason. I suppose I'm the one underrating him, not you.

I panicked a bit after I wasn't present since Fats had picked Mason. Yep, Sheed's an arse and he and Rodman will probably lead this tournament in technicals, but at least the guy genuinely seemed to care and played hard. He's not my type of guy, but I couldn't pass up his talent, even thought he wasted it. Could have been a Bill Simmons Pyramid player with the skillset he had.

Mason had the skill to play some point forward and had the strength to take on most power forwards.
He was hard, tough and a smart basketballer.

I remember hearing him talk about a player he was defending. He had studied and memorised the players moves so when the player started a move he would mock them by telling them what they would do next and not too bother.

I might be over rating him, but he was a player I would love to have on my side.
