WE OFFICIALLY GOT THE 6th BEST LOOKING UNI'S IN THE LEAGUE

Paul Lukas of Uni Watch ranks the uniforms of all 30 NBA teams, with the Celtics coming in first.

"The Rolling Stones, "Goodfellas," a Hershey's with almonds -- the classics are classic for a reason," writes Lukas about the Celtics. "That definitely applies to the Celtics' set. No goofy side panels, no extraneous bells or whistles -- just a perfect, vertically arched wordmark and a simple green-and-white color scheme. They rank atop this list despite sometimes wearing that black-trimmed alternate."

The Spurs, Lakers, Warriors and Jazz comprise the remainder of the top-five.

I'm not sure I agree with it though. Thunder needs to be towards the bottom. Bulls should be above us. I think 6th is being very generous for us as well. I do love them, but I think there are teams who have better unis than us that are below us on this list.

Perhaps we get points for going with a 'modern spin' on a 'classic look'. Personally my main issue is with the numbers, specifically on the home uni they can be hard to read, but we've been over and over that in the other thread.

I remember when Methuselah would complain that everything was changing all the time. Then he had a dream set far in a future where someone had invented a game that made you throw a ball in a peach basket (first he had a dream in which a voice came down from heaven and explained what a "ball" was), and he was at peace.

Methuselah remembers when uniforms didn't have numbers, because numbers hadn't been invented yet. Methuselah prefers Oscar Robertson to Michael Jordan and Michael Jordan to LeBron James and LeBron James to some little tyke who's just picking up a basketball for the first time as I write this and will reset the spin on all things spheroid.

Further back then Big O, by the way, Methuselah won't go -- at least not in conversation with me.
