I originally planned on dealing #97 for depth in the 5th and 6th, and because I wasn't around, I needed to take the player who would net me a nice return (Hayward). Thought you could have got a little more for Hayward from Fury, but I wanted to see more of a guy like JR Smith who is much younger and more athletic than Capt. Jack.

Good luck the rest of the way...

Well, considering the guys who were taken and who was left on the board I feel Jackson is much more effective on the defensive side than JR Smith etc and I really ain't that high on Stack 5 either but the reality is he is still a decent player and great bridge between Rondo and Melo, especially for what I envision in this team which I will let you know soon.

Meloisgreat...I wouldn't rip anyone else about their basketball acumen, considering you are arguing that a guy who has created nothing but drama and said himself he can't run or even be ready to play by the beginning of this season, is going to lead a bunch of 2nd rate (being kind) players to the top tier in this BAT...and this is coming from the biggest Mike Conley fan.

I liked the Lamb pick, and think the kid is going to have a Rudy Gay-like impact in this league (in terms of being a top tier NON-superstar at his position). It doesn't mean that you are any closer to contention because you have a few decent players. Blair couldn't even see time down the stretch last season and is too undersized to defend his position.

Even with a few decent names, you need to look at the poor fit in the front court...Blair as a role player off the bench makes a little more sense. Look at the success of the Magic. A stretch 4, or at least a guy who can knock down the 15ft jumper on a regular basis, is a much better fit next to the guy who is going to clog the lane to begin with...but one who can actually reap the rewards from exposing those who choose to double him.

Why you looking to deal Courtney Lee? You looking for depth? Guy is perfect for your lineup. Your perimeter defense is one of the best with CP3-Lee-Hayward, plus the guys is a solid shooter who CP3 will find plenty spotting up from behind the arc.

You just need to get you a Varejao somehow and you're good to go.

Yeah for depth.

I would do 288, 294, 297 for 242, 379, 389

I'd be very surprised if anyone gave you a better offer than this!

I don't like Kenyon Martin as your starting PF at all. Also, I don't know if Miller is the type of point guard you want next to Kobe. You're much better off with a point guard that Kobe could kick it out to. Deng and Lopez I do like with Kobe though, but that's about it.

No deal!

46 spots means you're moving up an entire round and a half on a pick and I know you own the #244 pick so you get to pick two rotation players very close in value. Going from 332 to 294 would be like going from eating dog crap off an old piece of white bread to eating dog crap off of a freshly baked piece of focaccia bread, i'm still eating dog crap!

There is no negotiation to be made here. Either I get the picks I asked for or you can see if anyone else will give you a pick any better than mine. You need the #242 more than I do!
