Not sure if it's a new phone or not but it's got good features and pretty sure all Rola's have Gorilla Glass screens.

Maybe they'll come out with something interesting before Christmas though?

I would try the iPhone but I would feel dirty. About the only thing Apple I think I would buy at this point is a refurbished MacBook from a reliable place on Amazon like ABCD or something like that and even then probably still just go with a Dell.

If you're switching to Sprint, keep a look out for the Motorola Photon Q. I heard it's pretty good and it's got a physical keyboard.

FWIW...This is most likely the newest T-Mobiles fone that will be release, a QWERTY Samsung S3(According to Specs), a Windows 8 fone, and amazing HTC One X+(drools)...but it seems like I'm the only person here that uses T-Mobile

Anyone have Sprint? Would love to hear about their service.

I have sprint right now have not had a real problem with it in years though, seems fast enough to me using a 4S.

Yes, this is exactly the phone I'm talking about.

They do.

My friend does his Fios and cell through Verizon and they give him a package discount of IIRC $15 a month off his Fios bill and 10% off his cell for packaging them.

OK, another person with Sprint that gives it a nod.

Sell me on the iPhone over Droid or even a Windows phone...

Why would I join the dark side of the industry technology limiting lawsuiters, with no Flash ability, no removable battery, can always track you, charge you for nearly everything and every app, no animated wallpapers, no Swype, un-upgradable storage from your original purchase choice, no physical keyboard and only one physical task button?

I think I've said it before. I love my Droid 4 but I should have got the Razr. I really don't use the physical keyboard (even though I thought I would), the touchscreen keyboard is phenomenal and the physical keyboard + case adds some noticeable bulk to the phone (compared to other smartphones).

Yeah this is the drawback of the physical slider. I'm willing to continue making the compromise though.

I use my touchscreen with Swype a solid amount, but I love the ability to use the physical keyboard and use that most often.

i don't know how much this is gonna sell you but before I had my iPhone I had a htc evo shift which had a keyboard, never really had many problems with it but it was slow at time, then I switched and got a iPhone and it is just so amazing how much faster and easier to use than the htc, I have had absolutely no speed issues with my iPhone at all, now for the part about no animated wallpapers, Swype and no real customizability you can always just jailbreak it, I have not done this but it is legal and easily reversed, if you jailbreak it you can get all the customizability that a android has free and if you have issues you can always just reverse the jailbreak and your back to normal. And there is a browser called skyfire on the app store that has flash ability.

So I know there's some jailbreaker's up in here... how much customization does it afford?

I had a friend who always jailbroke his iPhone but I never got to play around with it much.

It has a LOT of things you can do there are sites like macrumors that have full sections just about jailbreaking, there are many youtube videos on the best jailbreak apps, I have many friends who first thing they do is jailbreak there iPhone when they get it and then unjailbreak and rejailbreak when a new iOS comes out. And there are some sites all about iPhone jailbreaking. I honestly don't know why I have not jailbroken, there are just so many reasons why it's worth it. The best video you should search is called 100 reasons to jailbreak a iPhone or something like that on YouTube.

Or you could just get an Android (and if you really want to root it)...

If I was going to sell you on the iPhone I'd mention the size, weight and, visual design of it. Those are the three features it has going for it that most Android phones don't...

"Ease of use" is a cop-out phrase I see a lot of people use, but if you have some semblance of technological knowledge and are purchasing a top tier phone than except for in extreme cases "ease of use" is just BS mainstream hipster lingo...

(I don't know how many people would tell me about how much "easier to use" a Mac was than a PC for graphic design purposes, but after I spent some time with a Mac I noted no difference whatsoever, if you understand what you're doing a computer is a computer, just like a phone is a phone...)

Jailbreaking voids your warranty in the same way that rooting and flashing your Android device voids your terms of service. Yes, you can turn it back to the way it was so that it can be serviced if need be, but jailbreaking is just like rooting on Android.

The iPhone's "smoothness" comes from hardware acceleration. It doesn't have any widgets or live wallpapers to deal with in the background. I find this smoothness factor overrated, even though the top tier Android phones are almost as smooth, if not just as smooth. BUT since Android has developed Project Butter alongside with the release of JellyBean, many Android phones will be extremely smooth, especially phones with stock Android.

I used to always say to my one friend, the reason so many people are drawn to the iPhone, especially the 4, is it's just sexy looking. That and the display is great, music is great on it cause it's basically an iPod and the battery tends to last forever on a charge even with very heavy use.

Does anyone have experience cancelling gym memberships? I'm about to cancel mine with Retro Fitness and from what I've read online it's going to be a HUGE pain in the ass.

I really wish I read some of these complains before I signed up with Retro, as I am not looking forward to this crap...

http://retro-fitness.pissedconsumer.com ... 11455.html

Have already had to deal with some of this crap, I went in person to cancel today (gym is about 5 minutes from my house) and I can't get over the fact that instead of letting me hand them my cancellation letter I need to **** mail it to them via certified mail.

It's like putting a god damn letter in your neighbor's mailbox to let them know some important news instead of ringing the doorbell and telling it to their face...

I'm going to call them again to confirm that all they want is this cancellation letter, and might stop by in person again, but I swear to god if they try to reject my letter or continue to bill me after the bull two month notice period they built into the contract (which I'm fine with by the way since it was in the contract), I am going to bust a cap on these bitches.
