I agree Chalm, I've been saying that since we made that trade. It just gives us a fairly attractive first-rounder to net us a vet that becomes available.

I kinda wanted LeBryan Nash when I thought he'd be in this draft. He's insanely athletic.

It allowed Miami to do a sign and trade versus signing them out right. Which meant the players could get better deals, and raps/Cavs knew they were losing their guys so figured why not get some first round picks..

Also, I believe with Raptors we gave them two picks but one was already theirs.


In the end it was more making room for MM/UD, which was made possible by being able to pay LeBosh more. We gave them the pick back that Riley somehow got out of Colangelo in the JO trade. They helped get a 2011 expiring deal off our hands (Banks), gave us a C, and a pick that we'd later give back to them to facilitate Bosh. Don.

only way we will keep the pick is if its a lottery other than that its being traded
