Week 1 starter
need help choosing 2 of the 3 (i know not much to choose from but mjd is holding out and he is my #2 next to McCoy)
R. Jennings
Blackmon
Ryan Williams
I have 2 other backup rb in Helu and R. Rodgers but these 2 haven't proven anything thus far, I'm not even sure what to make of Helu right now.

Re: Week 1 starter
sashad and Blackmon for week one I do like Ryan Williams to be a solid starter for you down the road this season but fot week one I would go with jennings to start and Blackmin to get his on that Vikings secondary.
With Williams it'll only be a matter of team before some one breathes on him and he gets injured then I like Williams as a solid RB2 every week but for now your better off getting those starts out of Jennings.
I got one for you Matt Ryan v KC or RG3 v NO. Arrowhead is rough and I don't really like Matty Ice outdoors so I am looking to RG3 in the dome.R

have Ryan as well to pair with Julio, so I'm bias and going with Ryan, KC D doesn't look very good.

Agreed, I would go Matty Ice

Got to until you at least see RG3 play some pro football.

R. Rodgers? You mean Jaquizz?
I'd go Jennings and Blackmon though and I think those are both good plays week 1, nothing wrong or weak with them really. Not great versus the matchup. But not bad.

Matt Ryan easy. He's going to be a beast this year. Every week starter.

Re: Week 1 starter
Don't love Romo without Witten and a potentially gimpy Austin. The Chargers will likely be without Mathews, so expect a lot of throwing (incidentally, a good game to play Gates since he could see a lot of short routes in lieu of a heavy run game; Royal too, in a deep league).
I'm REALLY not buying Garcon, but I think you probably have to go with him in a game that could see the Skins down an throwing a ton.

I was thinking Garcon and Rivers too, thanks guys. I somehow managed to trade Stevie Johnson for Ryan Matthews so that could be huge in a few weeks.

I'm iffy on Garcon as well.
I could see him being a top 10 WR by the end of the year, barely, with like 1100+ and 9 TD's, but being super erratic with most of his damage coming in 4 or 5 games and then a lot of the season being downright meager.
That often makes for a great WR3 or Flex play if you have consistent studs at your other slots though.

Damn that's thievery.
I'm pretty high on Stevie this year as well, but if Mathews winds up more or less healthy the rest of the way after sitting out 2 or 3 weeks he'll be beastly the rest of the way.

Agree, it puts me thin at WR...but my starting RB's are now Rice, Run DMC, and Matthews

^^^yep, nice running back core if the latter 2 stay healthy, not looking good thus far for Mathews but for what you gave up I do that ALL-DAY
.
As for me, looks like I lucked out and picked up Riddley as the owner dropped him, so I'm starting him now at Flex with Jennings as the #2 rb. I'm glad MJD is back but now but him being back could hamper Jennings prod a bit from news I see MJD might be 3rd down back, so he'll probably get goal line action

Re: Week 1 starter
Pick 1 player to start
BenJarvus Green-Ellis vs. Bal, Justin Blackmon vs. Min, or Mark Ingram v. Wash
For some reason I am leaning towards using Blackmon against the Vikes in my flex spot, and I am still not sold on Matt Ryan vs KC coould potentially pull the plug on RG3 in the dome with a lot of garbage time on his hands.

I'm going to have to go with Blackmon as well. I think he could easily put up a 80 and TD game.

Re: Week 1 starter
Before I ask you to pick one, my league has bizarre scoring. Some notable changes that will affect your decision from the standard scoring: .25 pts per rushing attempt, PPR, 15 yards per return point, everything else is standard yahoo scoring. Having a tough time trying to decide who to go with for my flex spot. Pick one...
Peyton Hillis vs Atl
DHB vs SD
Stevie Johnson vs NYJ
Danny Amendola vs Det
Jacquizz Rodgers vs KC
Leaning towards eliminating Stevie Johnson for this week just because of the Revis match-up. I know he's had success against him in the past but I still don't want to take that risk. All the other guys are really tempting. It's my first time using a format that has kick return yards so it's really throwing a wrench in my selections. I think Amendola would be an easy choice if he was for sure doing returns, but I can't find an official confirmation on who the Rams guy is for that job. I would guess Pead since he excelled in the preseason, but nothing official.
I'm kind of leaning going with Jacquizz Rodgers, I think he's going to be Sproles-lite this year, which in this league is Godly. However, he's probably the riskiest pick outside of Stevie Johnson in this group. What do you guys think?

Re: Week 1 starter
Hmm... that's a tough one. I'm actually in a league with very similar settings.
I don't really love any of those guys this week, but I don't hate any of them either.
I'd lean towards DHB, he might come out with a huge statement game. Like 130 and a TD on 9 catches.
I'd rank Stevie Johnson #2.
Rodgers 3, but I'd prefer to take a wait and see approach with him.
Hillis 3b. I think he'll get solid work, maybe 14 to 18 touches.
Going dead last with Danny Boy. I could see him getting a ton of receptions this year, but the dude winds up getting like 8 or 9 yards a catch on average. Terrible.
