We are gonna compare serious business when a job is on the line to a bat email? Some of you guys just take this to serious.

I didn't disrespect the guy, I just said it wasn't a good deal on my part. Email or not this is a thread to talk about all bat info, do you have a thread for work? No I don't see how that is the same thing.

How is this a good trade?

Jonas Valanciunas, Bradley Beal, Tristan Thompason for Dwight Howard, Antawn Jamison and 238?

You couldn't even throw in Anthony Davis. They are high potential players, but come on they are role players at this point.

Yes a starter can be a role player not just bench players.

In reply to blueninjargm@gmail.com via email.

Not by my phone.

My man i compared it to business as an example. Of course this isn't the same, but it just similar way of going about email. It's a respect thing. If you don't like the deal say "no don't like deal, can't respond at this time in full length" that simple. No need to display his offer to you. No ones gonna want to deal with you if they know that your going to just put everything in private convo in the public thread. No one is taking this that serious. Your just breaking unwritten code that most people that have done this know by now.

I agree. Thanks guys. I wouldve easily let him post the offer here, I make all offers as what I seriously feel would be a good deal in the NBA. Trading three high draft pick players for a player thats going to leave your team is a great deal.

Could easily say no deal and thats all. Only reason I responded to him further is because he went on to call my players role players. To me that means bench players who get minutes, or a starter who does only one thing. I went on to reply to him that the players I am offering are already number 2 or 3 options on their teams offensively, or have a large defensive part.

Please tell me how it is more then an offer? Stop making it sound like I did some horrible thing to you. I sent you an offer, very respectfully replied when you called my players role players (didnt say anything bad about you or your players), and thats it it was over until you posted the deal here.

I needed a F who can play heavy mins since Duncan will only play 28-30 mpg tops. Need to keep him rested/healthy.

i'm glad i traded away 216 because al harrington was a guy i was eying. definite points off the bench. as long as he has guys that can distribute the ball to him and don't care that he has low bball IQ and won't pass the ball, he's definitely nice to have around, and i think he's actually a steal at this point in the game. his contract is much nicer now that he's not on the knicks

Wow ok...now that I know the GM is BlueNinja I gotta admit, from my dealing w/ him, he's been pretty darn respectful and easy going, hard to imagine him being belligerent or anything.

And this was after our little back and forth about him dissing the hell outta SJax (when I drafted him).

I just choose the "ignore" theory when dealing with someone who has no clue what they are talking about. No one likes to air out trades as there is a level of dissrespect there.

Problem is that some be just don't get it.

i was one of the more voiced knicks fans that hated al harrington. but it won't cloud my judgement to realize that he is instant offense off the bench. i just hate him and his game. hated him on the knicks and will continue to hate the man lol. i'm with you kneega

I can vouch for Blue. Always love dealing with him..
I think some GM's no one in particular shouldn't take offers so personally Just remember its part of the process...

If there was ever a BAT where we got the judging system correct it HAS to be this one. The competition is so close in so many ways. It's gonna be very hard to determine a winner. I'm having problems choosing my top 5. lol

i would agree, the judging system doesn't just reward the teams most likely to compete for a championship this year. Its a pretty good system to evaluate a few ways to build a team.

Only problem I see is that a few grudges are being built already and this coudl cause some issues down the road.

So you ignored the problem by calling me clueless and saying I have no idea what I'm talking about when you have no idea what the issue is?

Nobody aired out anything stop beating a dead horse, I apologized multiple times for you to post that is just ignorant.

Yes we did. Just clearing up some of the stuff you said here. It made me sound like I said something bad to you. All I was trying to do is be clear what the offer was since its a blockbuster and clear how your team would look after. Again just trying to clear things up more then anything.

Melo I have no clue what your talking about but I wasn't even talking about you bro.

I was just making a general post that had nothing to do with no one just my personal opinion on how to deal with that type of situation.

i didn't quote a post because it wasn't in reference to anything in particular, was not trying to say one thing about you at all man.
