I agree with Sabonis. I think the slip from 12 - 20 is the cost of picking up the team late. The only other option would be to push the other people that picked up a slot but that would mess up trades.

bww, I just noticed Cy is awol for less than 30 hours, he could have a solid excuse like his internet was down or his computer broke down etc. maybe we should give him like 48 hours or so (from the time he had to pick, not from now)?

don't know, just brainstorming...

Totally agree. I'm not ready to pull the plug on Cy just yet. But his profile says he visited Realgm today, which tells me he's around and active, just not engaged with the league.

We've sent him a couple of emails and a PM. If he doesn't respond by the end of the day, we'll have to replace him just for the sake of keeping the draft going.

no no and no

If you go back to last year and 2 years cyr always is late and he will get a goodie cmon give me a break
the rules are = to all

I say lets move on either and stop @ 2nd round and if he doesn´t show up we change GM
the new GM can then pick

How about we let Alcig pick for now and if Cy comes back he has to live with those players. At least we can get this very slow ball rolling that way.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I agree with this. Alci is in the Netherlands, so he may not pick for several hours though.
