We've had lopsided trades before though and we never vetoed them. This one doesn't seem that different from the rest. Just playing devil's advocate.

8 time BAT vet and have seen much worse deals

Seriously can people stop getting on my case? I've done a BAT before and did fine.

Well - I'm getting several emails from GM's and many here are complaining. Not to mention:
it clear that it's completely one sided. I am willing to be fair and give Mecca and Justaknick an opportunity to rework the deal. I t only fair to the league that we address this.

as much as i don't like the trade and think it's incredibly one sided and stupid, we should not veto this trade. there have been some equally bad ones that have gone un-vetoed.

i think that rule was meant more for trades that are like, a durant for fields type of trade. one where a guy is so mad at the BAT he's just unloading his team. i think that's what that clause was set up to be for

eh, I disagree. There is usually a justification for a trade, even if lopsided. Don't see the justification here. Still, it's not like he traded Fields for LeBron, so I say let it slide..

We've seen worse in this BAT alone, but yeah it doesn't make sense at all. If we just started this thing and someone offered:

Third Round Pick + Tenth Round Pick

for

Seventh Round Pick + Eighth Round Pick

What would the reaction be? I don't even look at the players involved, I look in terms of picks.

this. Its exactly how I look at trades. I valued this guy as 4 rounds higher then your guy, im not going to trade him for an insignificant raise in the late rounds.

kneega - there's nothing to sort out... if both parties agree then so be it. As long as it's not LeBron for a 12th rounder then so be it.
