Re: Any sites with early projections/mocks?
We're in the middle of doing the first mock of the season over at FBC. Thread here with pick-by-pick analysis. We're into the ninth round and getting about a round a day done so there's lots to read. ESPN has some rankings up but they're their usual useless early offseason ESPN selves so be warned. Damn Lies and Statistics also has their 1.0 Mock Up, and it's fairly useful.

They were, but it appears that they are down now.
I was under the impression that Yahoo! normally doesn't open up their fantasy basketball leagues this early, I wonder if today was a mistake on their part?

Your own?
If you take a big board from most respectable sites you probably won't miss out on any of the big names.
What you might want to do is take the Yahoo! big board for example and then organize players in "tiers" if two players are nearly identical yet one is better in steals while the other is better in threes what's the point of ranking one ahead of the other, who you should pick in that scenario comes down to who better fits your team / what players you have already drafted.

Re: Any sites with early projections/mocks?
Anyway, i think some players, especially in deep leagues, should be considered:
Thomas Robinson, Derrick Favors, BJ Mullens, Robin Lopez and Valaciunas are some of the bigs i would consider late in the draft for a 14-team roto league
(I think Dragic will go in first 3 rounds but guards like Brandan Knight, Aaron Brooks, Vasquez, Lillard and OJ Mayo are some sleepers picks imo

For Projections:
I like Rotoworld the best (although it's $14.99)
followed by ESPN (free). I think those are the 2 best.
Yahoo is probably 3rd but their projections aren't very deep (i.e. their Big Board is only 50 players)
CBS being 4th. Their projections are really screwy this year (i.e. Jason Terry ranked well ahead of Anthony Davis)

Re: Any sites with early projections/mocks?
Yikes. ESPN is messed, I only use it to see who might be overvalued. Yahoo's a little better, or at least more consistent. I usually find it's best to set a bunch of rankings side by side and see where the differences lie. That identifies the outlier players and you can then decide what the value is of rankings those guys much higher or lower than consensus.
I think Anthony Davis might end up being one of the most over-drafted players in fantasy this year too, so ranking him low doesn't really shock me.

I think that Lillard is going to be this years Kyrie Irving. In a lot of Mock drafts that I've done...I've seen him go a lot higher than I'd expect.

Re: Any sites with early projections/mocks?
Lillard is going to be an interesting pick because although he's been given the reins his game isn't as fantasy friendly as Kyrie's. Kyrie is super efficient while Lillard might be one of those guys who tanks your FG% by himself. I like him but I probably won't have him on my team since he'll be getting reached for everywhere.
I like yahoo a lot more than ESPN for preseason rankings. Once the season starts I just stick to BBM. To me, ESPN's fantasy coverage is roughly equivalent to their half-time show. CBS is a mess as well. Don't know much about the rotoworld package but a buddy who bought it wasn't impressed.
