Rate My Teams

Post#1 » by JDP » Thu Aug 30, 2012 11:11 pm

I just completed 2 drafts over the weekend and I just wanted some feedback on how they turned out. Feel free to post comments trades suggestions, free agent ads etc. As well as your own teams so we can have some comparisons.

My first team 12 man standard scoring with a w/r flex spot. I drafted this team from the 10 slot.

QB Matt Ryan
RB Matt Forte
RB Marshawn Lynch
WR1 Hakeem Nicks
WR2 Jeremy Maclin
WR3 Darrius Heyward-Bey
TE Brandon Pettigrew
W/R Ahmad Bradshaw
K Stephen Gostowski
DEF Broncos

Bench
QB RG3
RB Kevin Smith
RB Kendall Hunter
RB Alfred Morris
WR Greg Little
WR Rod Streater

This is my second team in my 10 man drafted from the 7th spot which I think is absolutley stacked but its 10 man so most teams are.

QB Cam Newton
RB Chris Johnson
RB Steven Jackson
WR1 Victor Cruz
WR2 Wes Welker
WR3 Antonio Brown
TE Brandon Pettigrew
W/R Benjarvus Green-Ellis
DEF Detroit
K Robbie Gould

Bench
QB Mike Vick
RB Mark Ingram
RB Isiah Pead
RB CJ Spiller
WR Michael Crabtree
WR Justin Blackmon

You 12 team starting lineup looks awesome, not really a big fan of your bench for that squad though to be honest. RG3 is nice, and Kevin Smith is decent but incredibly injury prone. Everyone else on your bench though is a high upside guy/high risk guy, I guess time will tell if that works out. Not really sure about the Broncos defense either, but I guess this is nitpicking a little, since it's just a defense.

Loving your 10 team, starting lineup is awesome. Bench is awesome too. Not a huge fan of Mark Ingram but he's not bad as your 4th RB. Isiah Pead is someone I'd watch, sounds like he's losing steam in STL, if there is someone worthwhile on your waiver wire it might be worth dropping him, if not hold onto him and maybe it works out. Vick's a pretty incredibly backup too, I would trade him ASAP or rather after his first big game if possible.

12 team league:
- I like Ryan this year, and so do a lot of people, if you're going to wait on your QB
- Your RBs look good. No studs, but your top 3 are all strong #2s or low end #1s
- WRs are solid but not spectacular. I'm not a big Nicks fan, but I like Heyward-Bey this year.
- You are pretty solid across the board, but I don't like your bench. Would not have wasted a pick on Hunter.
