Joe Johnson isn't the best pickup here but I had far too many reasons to take him:

1. Deron Insurance - If Williams goes down, Joe Johnson will have to pick up some slack, and that could also work for me if Johnson goes down.

2. I'm upset I didn't take him last year in favor of someone who shall remain nameless.

3. I like a SF who can give me a decent amount of assists.

4. Looks like I'm a Brooklyn fan...I promise I'm not Jay-Z (or their Russian billionaire owner).

5. Maybe the new team will revitalize him.

6. His minutes should reduce, boosting his efficiency.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note, I've become quite enthralled with pulling off a 3 team trade. That being said, If you are in trade talks that just can't get done...give me an email and maybe I can help facilitate something using my assets.

Who's taking lists? I'm hitting the hay in about a hour and a half in case Cy goes AWOL.

Thanks for the heads up - it got spam filtered. I've got your most recent note but not any earlier ones.

Ok, my Carnac impression is over. I was targeting Anthony davis @ around 90.

I never expected a rookie to go this high.

Interesting.

I'll have to rethink a few things now.

Jazz definitely drafted him earlier than he should have went...big gamble, but my whole team has been a gamble, with injury prone PG's.

No, it's cool. Makes things more interesting. Usually I worry about WB doing something unexpected. Was just a bit surprised it was you instead.

No hate for my Lin pick?? Just comparing to earlier mocks, the biggest reaches so far have been Bosh, Amare, Lin, and Bogut.

Hate the Lin pick. Way too early.

How was that?

I wonder why Bogut is such a reach. He's ranked #62 in 9 cat. Only 11 slots lower than I picked him. Plus he was the highest ranked player on my list for my catagories.

I know the injury concerns loom large, but, is that the only thing? I'm thinking he'll see lots of minutes on a fast paced team and will be rejuvenated a bit playing for a new team.

Wow and Curry/Lowry/Davis aren't reaches at where I picked them.

2 of them are injury concerns, and the 3rd is a rookie big man.
