OT....for the game heads here...An EA rep basically confirmed that NBA Live 13 will be a digital download which means NOT on disc for about 20 bones.....could be a wrap for Live for the rest of this gaming generation(PS3/XboX 360) i mean they had 3 years to work on the game...i thought more time is suppose to be better for developers?

I heard about it yesterday. I always got 2K anyways, so I don't care too much about Live. The only time I ever cared was when Dwight was on the cover.

Schmitz’ Take: Magic players on trading block:

Even though Dwight Howard, Ryan Anderson, Jason Richardson, Earl Clark and Chris Duhon have been shipped out, the Magic are hardly finished in their attempts to make trades.

They are open for business to any team that is interested in the likes of holdovers Hedo Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick, Big Baby Davis and Quentin Richardson. (And those players also might be looking to join a team that’s not competing for lottery prizes the next few seasons.)

Vets Al Harrington and Josh McRoberts, who both arrived in the Dwight deal, also will be there for the asking.

What do the Magic want in return to jettison any of those deals? Ideally, expiring contracts and/or draft picks.

Odds of moving the big multi-year contracts of Turk ($11.8 and roughly $6 million), Nelson (3 years, about $20 million) and Davis (3 years, $19.4 million) are slim, of course.

Redick has an expiring deal at $6.7 million so he’ll be beneficial whether he’s dealt or not. McRoberts also has an expiring contract at $3.1 million.

Richardson has two years left at $2.6 million and $2.8 million.

Even with two guaranteed seasons at $6.2 million and $6.6 million, Harrington has enough firepower left to interest a team looking for a scorer or trying to fill a void created by an injury.

The Magic likely will be busy at the trade deadline.

They also have a $17.8 million trade exception for the next year from the Howard deal — believed to be the largest in league history — to utilize. For taking on a player from a team that’s, say, trying to avoid the luxury tax, the Magic hope to acquire more draft picks in that transaction.

Put that on ESPN, so all these people knocking Hennigan can shutup!!!

Sad thing is that I think he could of maybe had a shot but oh well. I'm not dwelling in the past...looking forward to new version of the Magic.

So, like I've said before, RDV is the problem. Why hire a supposed expert basketball mind and force him to make a basketball decision? :nonono:

So you sign Jameer to a new contract and then look to trade him? :falloff:

We all know it. F him and move on.

Now, everyone can see that Dwight, the Nba, Adidas and the Lakers already had a marketing strategy and products in place to showcase Dwight way before this trade transpired. They just had to play out the scenarios to create controversy.

It hasn't even been two weeks yet, and Dwight is out there in his Lakers Adidas shoes.

I hope some one puts they very shoe in his hand on and promptly kicks him in the a$$ with it.

Do we know that DeVos wasn't speaking for Howard?
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Cleveland won't be retiring LeBron's jersey, why should be retire someone's who fuc#@*#* us over worse than Shaq?

Sorry but Dwight didn't **** us over worse than Shaq. I don't care if O'Neal has his house still here and still donates to the community, he was only a Magic man for 4 years. Penny, Nick, Darrell, Tracy, even Bo and Ho Grant have a better chance of getting their jerseys raised than Shaq.

We got absolutely nothing for Shaq. With Dwight we got some great pieces in return.

Eh, that article was a "Hey, we haven't written anything meaningful about the Magic this week, let's start trade rumors!" I wouldn't place a lot of faith in it.

It's Schmitz. I'm inclined to trust Ridley more than Brian.
