Sharapova dumped him, even she realized he's no use anymore. ;)

Bring him back to do what?

Make 3-pointers in practice? We traded him for a reason... he sucks.

We already signed Meeks (who also sucks) so it wouldn't make any sense to bring him back anyway. Our bench is overloaded with suck so there's just no more room.

How do we know Meeks sucks. He hit 97 three pointers last year. Averaged over 8 points. For a guard in the Lakers system. I would take those stats. If he sucks in the Lakers system. Then he will not be back. Just to say he is no good when he was with another team is just stupid.

Props to the Machine.

I've read enough about him from Cavs fans to understand he's inconsistent and doesn't play much defense. There is no reason for them to lie about his game, and I trust a few of those that have offered analysis.

Coming off the bench I don't expect him to do much. Keep in mind that our 2nd unit doesn't have an effective playmaker. Blake only wants to set up as a spot-up shooter, and between Ebanks, Jamison, and Hill you'd be lucky get any kind of pass that leads to a quality look.

If Meeks played with the starters then I might get more exited, but he's not going to get all those great looks playing on the Lakers bench.

I really hope he gives us great shooting, but I'm not all that optimistic. Would LOVE to be wrong though...

Jodie Meeks was never on the Cavs, why do their fans opinions count for more.

Well we really traded him because Shannon was hungry and took his minutes, Sasha started pressing and looked bad doing it.

@semi-sentient Why do you feel the need to throw out the sucks word to average players? Meeks fills a roll they we greatly need and taking the opinions of other teams fans is the worst thing you can do. Talk to any Magic fan right now and they think Andrew Bynum is the best C since Shaq.

I heard his tennis girl (Sharapova?) just dumped him. He is probably in a 2011 Gasol slump. I say no thanks.

I'll take The Machine over Blake any day. He's more confident, is a better shooter, and at least plays scrappy (but not always the best) D.

It's not going to happen though.
