thats why I was pushing so hard to trade for a pick.. he could have gone in round 5, maybe round 4, and no one would have batted an eye..

personally, I'd take him over Ray Allen (similar role, first pick of 5th round)

I'd put Allen slightly ahead of him, but it's close. Nice find.

I have a feeling Free Agency will be a mad house with talent left on the board...

Willy, I updated ur mem pick a long time ago. With all due respect to u and blue. A decision should have never been made to replace the player. I don't think there was much to think about in this situation. This was my reason for acting quickly. Compound it with you mentioning your preference in Mem. Moo was on the clock and selected a player at a different position and I was up next. Compound that with the fact that you brought attention to the player. I decided to pick him. If anyone thinks that I did something wrong I am open for a solution :-)

But again, with all due respect you and Blue acted prematurely which further complicated the situation...

I plan on taking off in a bit, hate to leave and have someone who missed their pick snatch your guy or something if I'm not here.

I'll be on tonite though, I could email you when I get back if you're close to being up then you could send me pick if you like?

Salmons' a real good pick for you Willy. Fits well with the team. He shoots well and he's a solid passer for a SG. Contracts a bit hairy but not too too bad. On a winning team, in a starting role he should be able to get back to close to where he used to be.

Return to New York Knicks
