Magic going all in for disgruntled Lakers center Dwight Howard, multiple souces say.
Howard, mushroom sauce says, has already clashed with Bryant, who has forbidden Howard to act a fool in LA.
Anonymous saucer, claims that Howard is already having a hard time deciding if purple and gold suits his muscles.

BREAKING: Howard can't decide on what color of socks to wear, purple or yellow. Talks to family for advice, but doesn't listen.
Souce: Kobe tells Howard to be more serious. Howard responds with "WHY SO SERIOUS??" in SVG voice
Dwight Howard hides from public, felt the earth shake, thought it was angry Magic mob. Experiences first LA quake
Kobe tells Dwight he's still his "Tyson Chandler". Dwight seen pouting in corner of Staples Center

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
Magic Trade:
PF Al Harrington
SG JJ Redick
C Gustavo Ayon
Magic Receive:
S. Jackson expiring (Magic release rights to)
2013 1st Round Pick (T15 protected)
2014 2nd Round Pick
Combo guard Gary Neal (10 ppg in 20 mpg on a deep Spurs team last year)
Magic Roster:
C: Nikola Vucevic, Josh McRoberts, Kyle O'Quinn
PF: Glen Davis, Andrew Nicholson, Justin Harper
SF: Hedo Turkoglu, Moe Harkless, Quentin Richardson
SG: Arron Afflalo, Christian Eyenga, E'Twaun Moore
PG: Jameer Nelson, Gary Neal, Ish Smith
Why for Magic:
- Lose Al Harrington's contract
- Gain serviceable SG in Gary Neal and one that Rob Hennigan has allegedly already inquired into. Neal has a very reasonable multiyear contract and would fit very well with the chemistry of this team.
- Gain compensation for inevitable loss of JJ Redick in his impending free agency next year
- Gain upcoming 1st and 2nd round picks for team development or as trade assets
Why for Spurs:
- Gain serviceable veteran and locker room guy in Al Harrington for a 2013 playoff run
- Gain a quality, reasonably young SG and one that would likely re-sign in JJ Redick
- Gain a hard-nosed backup center, and one whose Mexican roots make him attractive to SA. Posters on the Spurstalk.com forum have had discussions about the possibility of trading for Ayon this season.
Get rid of a big contract in Al, Get rid of a player who is out of place on this roster in Redick, trim some of the fat (but little of the youth given Ayon's age) at Center, and come away with a young promising guard in Gary Neal, cap relief, and draft picks.
I think the trade is a more obvious "yes" for SA than for us, and we could possibly push for more in the way of compensation, but I like Gary Neal, I like the notion of turning Redick into draft picks and sending him to a good team, and I like the idea of getting Harrington's contract off the books now rather than later.

I'd be pretty happy if we could get Brandon Jennings somehow. At 22 he hasn't even touched his prime and has already shown signs of greatness.
Scored 55 in a game his rookie year, AI type speed and game, only 22 years old with PLENTY of upside.
We'd still be bad with him, and he has a chip on his shoulder from always getting overlooked

Yeah JJ is my fav player, but if we had to deal him, I would want it to a team like the spurs.

Instead of trading Ayon trade McRoberts. And cut/trade QRich and sign Liggins

Random Trivia: Gustavo Ayon, at 27, is almost 2 years older than Josh McRoberts.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
Ayon is going to break out with Vucevic I think. Don't give him up for nothing to SAS, JJ and McRoberts makes more sense because McRoberts is clearly just a non-all star PF but is a quality player still too. Cut Q Rich and sign Liggins I can roll with too but Q brings a nice vet personality too I think, so if someone else gets the cut, sounds good. I'd try to get more than one 1st for JJ too.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
I really like Eyenga, he showed a lot of potential when he was on the Cavs back in the 10-11 season.
If we do that trade and cut QRich(or trade him for a 2nd rd pick), we could sign Liggins
Nelson/Neal/Ish
Afflalo/Liggins/Moore
Hedo/Harkless/Eyenga
Davis/Nicholson/Harper
Nikola/Ayon/O'Quin
Nikola and Nicholson could both start this season with Baby moving to center when Nicholson starts

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLVI
Ayon and JJ need to be traded for future #1's. This is going to be a long rebuild and we're going to need as many picks as possible. The contracts (Hedo/Q/Jameer/Afflalo/Harrington/BBD) don't matter since we're starting back at zero and trying to rebuild through the draft. Trade whoever we can for picks and let those big contracts provide "veteran leadership" while we suck and rack up the ping pong balls.

As a huge JJ fan I'm thinking this could happen..
But wherever JJ goes I'm definitely going to be following him closely. Definitely my favorite player on the Magic. He has come such a long way. I would love to see him getting traded to a contending team like the Bulls or the Spurs if he must be traded.

Do this swaps work for both team?
- H-Turkoglu for R-Jefferson?
- A-Harrington for Z-Pachulia?
JJ for Taj = No Thanks.
