Imo you woulda been hard pressed to name a better PF C duo than Gasol and Bosh while hoping Brooks could mature to be that dominant offensive wing player he's shown he can be.

Now you're asking Bosh to bare the offensive load and CARRY that team to the Finals (hoping to catch that Dirk Chandler lightning in a bottle I presume) just don't see it happening and thought he stood a much better chance w/ Gasol @ C and building around that, that's all.

I wouldn't mind one for my team.

yeah, like i said i read the team's rosters wrong.

i still didn't like the pairing of bosh and gasol, but that's not a bad duo have. i think instead of bosh he should've looked for a PG/SG or SF. but that's why it's his team and not mine.

This was a trade that had been in talks for weeks. It was very hard to pull the trigger on it, but once the Suns added a Teague for Nelson swap and I had continued to build my team with defensive minded players, I knew I had to consider it.

Bosh is a much better compliment to Tyson than Amar'e on both ends considering that Bosh actually defends at a high level and has more range on his jumpshot. I don't think my team will have much trouble scoring. Bosh proved he was a legit #1 option in Toronto and guys like Teague, Allen, and Dudley can pour in buckets.

Defensively, I have all the elements to be in the upper echelon.

I honestly felt like Tyson was a much better compliment to Lebron. Didnt like the trade for Netsfancheryl's team.

I don't see why I would need a big time scorer next to Bosh. Teague, Allen, Dudley, Gee, and Chandler all scored in double figures last season. My team's defensive mindset outweighs the need to have another 20-25 ppg scorer besides Bosh.

Gotta agree. I think both teams actually got worse in this deal.

i think chandler is a better compliment to bosh than gasol. like i said before, bosh is not a good defender, so he's going to need help; this is something chandler is very good at, whereas gasol is not. gasol is a 1-on-1 defender.

Not sure how either team got worse...

I now have a legit scoring option down low, as well as a player who would probably blossom into stardom next to a playmaker like LeBron. Jameer has finals experience, and is no slouch at all. Ray Allen was indeed getting old. Marshon Brooks is an SG on the rise who has crazy potential.

For CT:

He gets a legit banger down low to offset Bosh's soft-natured game. Ray Allen is a shooter. The best ever. Still shoots well. Teague is a young point gaurd. Skillwise, Teague and Nelson are close.

And yet that doesn't seem to stop the Grizzlies from having one of the better frontcourts in the NBA (Z Bo Gasol) and Bosh is better on D than Zach, maybe equal offensively also if he goes back to 1st option CB4.

You make it sound like Marc is a terrible help defender, I think you're short changing the guy by alot.

yeah i misspoke the second time. notice the first time i said that gasol is a better 1-on-1 rather than help defender. didn't say he was terrible. he's just better at the other

Offensively my team has plenty of options. Why should it be necessary to have multiple 20 ppg scorers to be considered a good offensive team? I feel like it takes the fun out of this if you don't have a great team unless you have three to five 20 point scorers regardless of intangibles.

Teague is being highly underestimated. Very athletic, solid defender, and was second among point guards in BLOCKS last season.

What about the freakish athleticism in Alonzo Gee's game? He is also considered the Cavaliers' best perimeter defender.

Then a guy like Jared Dudley is not only the Suns' best perimeter defender, he has the most athletic hands in history.
