titans have a legit defense and a competitive o-this won't be a blowout. Dowling vs Wright should be a great match up.

I am very disappointed that Vereen is hurt. I can't wait to watch this guy add a layer to our potent offense, catching passes out of the backfield and lining up wide. I don't know how much you guys have seen him, but I think there are only a small number of lb's that could cover him one on one, and that short list does not include anyone in our division.

Wooo!!

Great game!

Not really any flashy numbers from Brady, but he played solid. The tight ends didn't seem to lose a step, and we upgraded with Lloyd over Ocho.

The running game with Ridley. Wow. Did not expect that type of performance. I was thinking 70 yards and maybe a goal line TD. He kicked ass! Multiple 15 + yard runs.

The defense gave me a chubby. I know its early but got dang Chandler Jones and Hightower, YES!! I lost my voice during that play. Tavon Wilson is getting a lot of playing time already too and made a nice interception. He was far away from that ball and hustled his way to grab the tipped pass.

Gostowski was solid and I enjoyed McCourty as the kick returner.

Good friggen stuff, exactly what you want to see from an opening game.

Pretty dominate win for the Pats. I know easily overlooked, but I thought the Special Teams had a very good game. The best starting spot for the Titans was the 21 yard line....that's not easy to do.

My three stars of the game.

1. Steven Ridley- Dominate performance, he could really be a special back.
2. Chandler Jones- I love this guys motor.
3. Jerod Mayo- He was all over the field, he has defensive player of the year ability when he's healthy.

I am impressed with Ridley. That run game brings a whole new dynamic to this offense. Allowes Brady to only throw 25-30 times a game with efficiency.

Also happy with Lloyd already, and I think him and Brady will get even better together. Already did more than ocho did wearing 85 in one game than his whole season last year.

Offensive line held up and was effective, which was my nervous point during pre-season for this team.

The Defense won this game though. Holding the titans to under 300 total yards, and made some really amazing plays. Both our first round rookies are going to be players in this league. Pumped.

Obviously a great game to start the season and the defense looked extremely sharp after the first drive.

One issue that I saw and has come up was Welker.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... ying-time/

It is one game but there is no way franchising a guy of Welker's age and then cutting his snaps and targets is going to go well. I am not even saying that it is intentional as much as if Ridley is going to move the ball on the ground throwing 5 yard routes to Welker becomes less of a necessity.

Something to watch. Great to see Hernandez play the same, fighting after the catch, after the cash.

Really encouraging to see Ridley outplay Chris Johnson.

Chris Johnson had 11 carries and 4 yards.

Speaks more for the pats run defense than who really outplayed who here.

Really dominate job by the front 7. Chris Johnson did do some dancing from time to time, but overall I think it was the front 7.

The Pats are gonna be a top 10 run defense this year. BOOK IT.

The pass defense seems fine except for giving up big plays, that seems to be the biggest weakness.

told you guys I have been waiting for Vereen to line up wide and explode out of the backfield since week 1.
he is going to have to continue this play and step up with gronk being out.
