My thinking, the Spurs window is probably in the next 2 years. I'm thinking of going all out. Sacrificing future for present.

I understand. But let me say a few things here.

I think some of you already know that this is for "Gaming" purposes. Obviously these deals aren't going to happen IRL.

The idea is to sacrifice our future (Kawhi obviously is the face of the future) to increase our opportunities to win in the next 2 years. I think that in our system, Jared Dudley is a perfect fit. Currently, replacing Kawhi with Dudley isn't that much of an downgrade. Gortat however is instantly a starter in our team. I think it's hard to say that we don't improve in the short term with this trade.

Another thing to consider is that the competition in my league are less than what they are here. My strongest title contenders are:

Miami: who traded Haslem to me, amnestied Mike Miller, and biggest key addition is Gerald Green and Jermaine O'neal.
C: Joel Anthony, Jermaine O'neal, Matt Bonner
PF: Chris Bosh, Dejuan Blair, Andrew Nicholson
SF: Lebron James, Shane Battier, James Jones
SG: Dwayne Wade, Gerald Green
PG: Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole
Arguably worst than their real life counter part who has Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis coming in.

OKC: who amnestied Kendrick Perkins, and traded Harden for Horford.
C Al Horford, Cole Aldrich
PF Serge Ibaka, Nick Coliison
SF Kevin Durant
SG Thabo Sefalosha, Marco Bellinelli
PG Russell Westbrook, Jeff Teague

Lakers aren't a threat at all in my league after not being able to land Dwight and traded Pau Gasol for Kyle Lowry for salary reasons.

I just feel like my chances are wide open. My team after this:

C Gortat, Camby, Splitter, Melo
PF Duncan, Haslem
SF Dudley, Green
SG Manu, Neal
PG Parker, Fredette
And still have my BAE to sign somebody at PG or SF if I want to slid Green to SG and Neal to PG. There are still tons of quality backups like Mike Miller, Carlos Delfino, Delonte West.

I'm not seeing the benefit here, from the POV of someone who has paid close attention to the Suns. Don't see why they'd give up Gortat for a wing player when they're investing in Beasley, or why they'd want Stephen Jackson, who hasn't proven to be able to help a team that isn't a veteran squad with a better star already poised for contention. Makes 0 sense for them.

From San Antonio's POV, Dudley isn't as good a defender as Leonard, isn't as athletic and actually seems to play his best as an undersized 4, rather than a 3. He'd murder corner 3s for the team and Gortat would be a nice addition, but I think they're better off constructed as is. This is one of those "not particularly good for either team" kind of situations, I think.
