Damn it's amazing how he comes off the curl and rises like a guard or even a super athletic 3.

A while ago I was trying to say that he could use spot minutes at the three position but everyone said no. Since then, I've kept my mouth shut.

Can anyone remember a time when they were more excited for training camp to begin?

I just can't wait to see how this team is going to fit and play together. Everyone seems to excel in something different and bring a uniqueness to the table.

plenty of people have said he plays nothing like a 4 on offense... he plays like peja out there. its just a question if he can actually guard/keep of the glass either forward spot in the NBA.

I'm not very familiar with international basketball...how competitive is the league that Teletovic is playing in right now?

Like, I know international competition has greatly improved over the years, and for example, Deron playing in Turkey was considered to be a great way to keep him in shape, because he'd be facing legit competition that is probably 2nd only to NBA competition (at least that's what I heard on ESPN at the time).

Teletovic played in ACB league (Spain) which is by far the best league in Europe. Turkish league is nowhere near. As the matter of fact, it's not even top3.

Its not actually a league, its FIBA qualifiers. And yes, competition is pretty bad. Not exactly terrible or anything, competitive pro games and all. For example, that Eurochalenge league where D-Will scored 50 was easily worse.

That being said, just take a look. Latvia, Georgia, Romania and Netherlands, those are Mirza's rivals in group D. Terrible group, no elite or near elite power at all. Latvia and Georgia are adequate, while Romania and Netherlands are just punching bags. Mirza is the biggest name in that group for sure.

I am, but at the same time I'm still pissed Dwight is in La La land with Pau and now the NBA is a 2 team race for the chip unless big injuries happen to one of those teams or we make a big trade.

I'm not going to let LA spoil my fun. I could care less about the Lakers right now. All I'm thinking about is Brooklyn and us opening a new season. Yes, they could very well win the title but you rarely open a new stadium and got to a new city is almost as rare as that.

I'll give the team a mulligan for the inaugural season. After that, I'll return to being the fan that puts together crazy, homer scenarios in which we get a superstar who will carry us to the championship lol.

I wouldnt be surprised to see the Thunder beat LA in the conf. finals. I dont think its as much of a slam dunk as a healthy Heat team beating everyone else in the EC.

Some aspects of his game offensively would translate to SF (runs the floor well, ability to come off screens) but others wouldn't (not a fluid ball handler, doesn't have an excellent first-step in comparison to SF's)... There's also the matter of Teletovic having no ability to guard opposing wing players.

Worse than getting abused in the post is regularly getting beat up top and forcing your defense to rotate and cover for you... It's one of the problems that has greatly plagued the Nets these last few years (shout out to Stephen Graham!)...

Agreed. The Heat beat OKC soundly with an injured Wade. If he can healthy for a playoff run, there's not a team in the East who could even hope to contain them. (Nevermind the additions of Ray Allen and Rashard.)

As good as Wade is...fit wise...I wonder if LBJ having to do more and NOT take turns made them even better. I know its crazy...but you have to have ONE supreme go to perimeter guy even if you have more than one great self creator. Wade is just not a great "in the flow" of the game guy.

He cant play the 3 bescause he's just to big to be able to defend wing players at all plus most of Teletovic's offense actually comes from the post. I know it seems like he is more of a perimeter threat but he gets his touches down low and works from there. Then other plays are ran for him running off screens etc but the majority of plays are post plays.

I still say the pick and pop between Williams and Teletovic is going to be a sight to behold, Teletovic is even very good at rolling to the basket because he is very aggressive.

CANT WAIT!!
