Would be kinda nice not to finish dead last in the AL east... we have a decent chance of passing the sox...

Disappointed McDade hasn't been called up.

He's already on the 40 man, they've already used an option on him this year, Gomes would have trouble hitting off a batting tee much less hit anything thrown at him from a major league pitcher, so it's not like McDade could actually be any less ready than him.

So do we keep 3 catchers and use Torrealba as backup first baseman? Surprised they are both back I haven't heard much about them lately as far as updates.

edit: also wondering what happens with Hech and Johnson, platoon them or sit Johnson?
