This is my boy's band. Their called B.Funk. My boy Brian is the vocalist (he's sick) and then theres a funk band behind it. Their all good too. Also know the Bassist.

They just did a show with Rakim, and also have done shows with Ice Cube/Slick Rick/EPMD. They are definatly up and comers, check out their music if you appreciate great music with great lyrics.

Top right is their most recent mixtape. At least give the first song a listen, i bet you'll end up finishing the album.

I know alot of people here are from NJ (so am I and him) So i figured you guys may be interested. Hes got 2 music videos up too there.

Now did you actually listen to the entire album? ANd the lyrics?

HIs flow is sick and his lyrics are different and has a big vocab. He is currently co managed by Redman atm as well. I dont understand how you can say it "isnt bad" then have LEGENDS like slick rick/ice cube/rakim/epmd/tribe called quest/redman etc all give him props. Wiz Khalifa has also given him props.

If you dig 90's rap, you should definatly give this a listen.

Didn't listen to the whole thing seemed pretty good. Terrible jersey choices on that underdogs video though, Lakers + Celtics + "underdogs"? :lol:

I don't know if I could get through a full album of that though, the emcee's style grates on me some.

Definitely could see throwing a track or two on a mix though.

Lol. Yea true. But i know these guys personally. Their just rocking their favorite teams. The vocalist is a die hard Lakers fan.

I figured as much. It's not a super high production video, I wasn't really expecting you guys to go out and buy jerseys specifically for it, just found it kind of ironic :-D

For anybody interested. They are doing a show at "the office" in bridgewater nj, on rt 22. Its tonight at 8pm for anybody that may want to go. Kinda short notice, but i forgot i made this topic lol.

Edit: Its not the bridgewater one, its on 728 thompson ave in bound brook.

In scranton PA, October 6th, there is going to be a free festivel where they will have groups and bands playing all day. A lot of food and games too. Seems like a pretty cool event, they had one scheduled in september but it got rained out.

He puts on a great show.

Finally got around to checking it out...definitely nice... gotta nice flow...I've always like that funk groove ****...
