Wow. I think it's safe to say this board lost one of its giants. And his family and friends lost something even greater. Sure gonna miss talking Bulls basketball with you, my friend. You helped make this board so special, along with so many others. R.I.P. Tommy Udo 6.

So sad to hear that, it might be 'just' a message board, but you kind of get used to seeing the same 'faces' around, and to read this is heart breaking. Hope his family are coping well.

Morten Jensen wrote:Needless to say, the mods got to know him a lot given how much we communicate off the public forums. George was a very, very polite and kind man. And you have to trust me on this, since he didn't always show it on the main forum, but he was funny. He would frequently get suckfish and myself into some serious LOLs.

I always enjoyed the stories he told us all about basketball back in the day. He was around for the birth of the Bulls, which led to some very interesting stories from way back.

I'm truly going to miss him a lot.

If you have a way of sending a link to this forum to his family im sure they would appreciate it. I think it would be cool for them to see all the love he had on here.

Shocked and saddened by this news. Rest in Peace Tommy Udo/bulls 6. I never knew him as George but always respected him through his posts. My condolences to his close friends and family. He'll be missed.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

Omg.

I didn't always agree with him, but man, he was a fixture here. I don't know what to say. This really knocks me back.

RIP George/Tommy ! Your knowledge and passion for the game will be greatly missed. You know it's quite astounding how someone can leave an imprint on those around them, even when they've never met. I think it just goes to show how great of a community we have here!

One of my favorite regulars -- always there, always himself, always writing stuff that'd you be able to recognize as him even if it didn't run alongside an avatar and user name.

My condolences to his family, friends, and all of you guys.
