Without rooting or jailbreaking or any other sophisticated bs, which (factory) smartphone is the best deal for what it can do/price?

it's going to come down to which OS you like more. best thing for you to do is go to your sprint store and play with the S3 and 4S. If you like the 4S more then while you're there pre-order the 5, if you like android more then buy the S3. your question isn't easy to answer because no one knows what your preferences are, and the 5 isn't out on the market yet to break down.

i'm personally buying a 5 bc i'm just used to the design and interface and don't like change. honestly if i were you i'd buy the S3.

but you're going to be pissed when a new android phone comes out like a month or two later after you've already bought the S3 and have an updated interface, then you'll have to wait a few months for the S3 to get that updated interface. that's just how android is.

he doesn't seem to have a clue as to what he's doing, he should really just go with the iphone - the reason it is so popular besides its popularity is because it actually is and has been a very intuitive/reliable device.

let's just say this, if you couldn't care less about customizing your phone down to a T then the iphone would be better for you man. like ryan said, it's just simpler.

Why would you buy that new Apple Nano when the IPod Touch 4 is still waaaay better?
An probably the same price.

I'll admit though that nano is much better than its last model.

I copped that iPod touch 4th gen with it first came out in 2010 and it's still running like a champ.

i honestly dont see the point of getting an ipod touch if you have a phone. the nano might suck but it plays music and thats all you really want from it. spending another 50-60$ on something that does a bunch of **** you dont care about becausee youre phone does it better is pointless.
