I think my team is being looked over.

There's no possible way a team full of rookies could be a top 10 team, just my opinion.

Its overall value. My team has a lot of it. Considering I originally had the 19th overall pick I feel I did pretty good.

And btw theres only 4 rookies in my rotation of 10. And all 4 are top 6 overall picks in their drafts. They'd probably get minutes on any NBA team.

I wasn't just calling your team out, but lets be realistic. How many players reach a maxed potential on one team?

In the real nba that team would take years to develop and grow even then I don't see them playing for anymore then a 7th seed.

i have you higher than where you are. but it is really based on overall franchise i believe.

remember, it's all conjecture and this is his opinion.

i say, feel free to post your own opinion.

I didn't expect to be at 23 I thought I built a complete team with leadership, 3 point shooting, post points, fast break, and good wing d and I thought a team mixed with young and old players is what gets teams to next level players with no playoff experience or winning experience aren't going to win championships

Again its not about this year. This year we might get a playoff spot but its not a guarantee. I do think the right players, right coaching staff, right opportunity you can get all of them to develop. Its unprecedented to have this many high picks on one team, and its not comparable to any other situation in the NBA.

Theres guys who are ready now and guys who are long term potential guys. I have both. Those who are ready now get minutes. The other are developed. Also they aren't all here to stay. They are value picks to be developed and traded later for potentially a superstar. Superstar packages are much less value usually, then some of the guys I have to offer. I could definitely see me getting two superstars either via free agency or trade in addition to keeping Anthony Davis.

Most value is the key here. Best overall team.

I can understand overall franchise wise, but just case you just alot of young players don't mean you have a bright future.

Ad is not leading a team to a top 1-4 seed anytime soon on top on that your asking all these guys to play alot of mins, some would be better off being 15-25 min a game player.

Ad would need another star or some good vets around him to take a
load off him.

Anybody could of picked a bunch of young players early and hope there potential is reached.

I agree. Thats why I didnt just pick high draft picks. I picked players that I feel can be impact players.

I have a two year plan. I will get other players here in addition to AD who is a guaranteed superstar. Lillard can at least be a scorer off the bench. Some of these guys have floors in addition to their ceilings. If thhe don't reach their ceilings, their floors are good enough to be players on teams.

Look at my rotation and tell me whos getting too many minutes.

Huh? He's not being asked to score a lot. He's just asked to be a defensive anchor.

Anyone can pick a bunch of vets and hope they don't break down. Theres risk to every move.

Blue Ninja, I like your team, but no one knows how half of these players would do in the NBA yet. It's a huge risk to draft guys that are unknowns.

I do agree to a certain point, but I do think you can take educated guesses on guys if you have seen these guys like I have. Not all these guys will make it. But enough will (barring injury).

I like the mix. Getting Calderon and Asik was pretty smart.

If AD is more of your defensive anchor who are your top 3 to score the ball?

Anyone you name is used to being a 3rd option on a bad team or used to having a role off the bench.

You would have to revamp your whole roster in about 2-3 years to trade for another star, trade for draft picks or get a all star and some good vets.

Your roster is one of the biggest question marks in this bat.

But in my opinion there's no way your team and contender should be anywhere near each other.

appreciate those rankings.. a lot of thought put into it, and I think they were done very well. Like everyone else not ranked #1, I wish I was ranked higher, but appreciate the thought and think the criticisms are valid.

People bring up Dirk's "decline" kinda often, and I'm not buying it. This apparent "decline" happened just months after he put a team on his back and led them to a championship through a ridiculously tough western conference and over LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. Dirk admitted to doing basically nothing during the off-season and not being ready when the lock out ended. He was coming off a high, and didn't expect the season to start. I recognize the guy is 34, but it was barely over a year ago when people thought he was playing at his career's peak. Plus, he's one of the most skilled players of all time, the kinda guy who ages like wine as he doesn't rely on athleticism. Dirk is still the best offensive PF in the league, and probably will be for the foreseeable future..
