0-2 wouldn't freak me out - the downer of it would be a homefield loss to a division foe. Division games are the most important 6 games of the season and the 3 division home games are the only pre-ordained must-win.

We might be challenged early while our rookies make mistakes during their on the job training and the team jels. But we could be pretty tight by midseason if House, McMillian, Burnet, Perry, Smith, Neal, Wilson & either Worthy or Daniels come together AND Raji gets a fires under him AND Woodson's & Pickett's wheels don't fall off. That's a lot of ifs! Matthews & Williams are our only two rock solid starters. Loosing Collins, Jenkins & Bishop over past 2 seasons and not replacing Hawk has really hurt our SB year defense.

Is this game really on NBC tonight? On NFL.com it says it's only on NFLN, but my DVR listing shows it on NBC too. That would be great, because I have to work really early tomorrow and would like to avoid going out to a bar to watch it.

NFL broadcasting rules state that all local games will be offered on over the air TV so when a game is on ESPN or NFLN one of the local stations can pick it up. GB is the only team in the NFL with two cities designated as their home market(GB and Mil) so in GB and Milwaukee the game will be on some sort of local over the air TV station, if you are outside of those markets it will only be on NFLN.

The money has been on the Packers. Line went from 5 to 5.5 and in some places it's now 6.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I actually agree.

I'm not sure how you clean up those defensive problems and communication issues in three days. But I hope we figure it out somehow.

I think we'll go from playing the best D in the league to playing an average to below average D, and playing a QB that plays very conservatively to one that still likes to sling it a bit. I hope we'll see Tramon Island back against Marshall cause he was pretty good Sunday. He needs to follow him across the field. We'll also be able to get in the backfield pretty easily and quickly. We need to have Forte shadowed by Francois or a safety, and move Perry around to avoid him playing coverage.

Also having Walden back may help with coverage (as ridiculous as that sounds) because he is 10X better than Perry or Moses are.

Need a big night out of the pass rush, and it's possible against the Bears line, which is trash.

I have no faith in this defense currently if we can't get to Cutler. The Bears now have enough weapons to beat us up if we don't get there.

Offensively, need Finley to be on point tonight, his style is perfect against the Bears scheme. Cobb too coming out of the backfield for stuff in the middle of the field.

I think it's going to be a shootout and we win on turnovers. Last year's recipe.

We'll "clean it up" by going up against a bad Oline and QB that will throw into double coverage. The Bears are not the 49ers.

If you watched the Bears game last week you would have seen that Cutler should have easily had 4 or 5 interceptions.

Line I'm looking at is 4.5.

The Bears played the worst team in the league last week. We played maybe the best. This will be a good game to judge were we are at.

So, is someone making a GT for this game? I'd do it, but I made the Giants game thread and the 49ers game thread. My mojo from 2010-2011 has taken a hit.
