Depth chart

Post#1 » by fraanciiscoo » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:47 am

what I would want

Rubio ( 32 ) Ridnour ( 10 ) Shved ( 6 )
Sheved ( 28 ) Roy ( 15 ) Rubio ( 6 )
Ak ( 32 ) budinger ( 10 ) Derrick ( 6 )
Love ( 30 ) Derrick ( 18 )
Pekovic ( 28 ) Love ( 15 ) Cunningham ( 6 )

9/10 man rotation

what will happend dont really know ... since i m european i used to follow rubio that you already know what he can do and Shved. Belive my words when i say he can score and he can make plays. His def is not as good as rubio but with Ak Love and Pekovic is not like if they pass him they will have an easy basket and the more he plays the more he´s going to adapt. his basketball IQ is huge mark my words but what will happend I dont know tell me what you guys think

I'm terrible with minutes, but once Rubio is healthy I expect this is what Adelman will do

Rubio
Roy
Kirilenko
Love
Pekovic
-----
Ridnour
Budinger
Stiemsma
Barea
Williams
Shved
Cunningham
Lee

Yea. If Shved has to start over Roy I think we are in some serious trouble.

I dont know if Adelman will start Shved right away, most likely Roy.But eventually I could see him starting for us.

Roy will start and probably play 25 minutes per game (or at least significantly more than 15).

Shved is too raw for the NBA. I know the same was said about Rubio, but Shved doesn't posses that much talent. He's a 6'5 version of Barea. Trust me, I've seen Shved play enough times.
Roy will start at SG and then when he gets injured (which is inevitable) Ridnour will start at SG and Shved will get around 20 minutes.

I hope Shved is a 6'5 version of Barea...with better outside shooting (which he has).

Barea is not a bad player to have on your team period. He came in last year and looked great, then got injured and became inconsistent. Now he's a bad player?

Yeah not to mention Barea came off of winning a championship, probably was out partying and not in his best condition. In games JJ started last year he averaged 16 points and 9 assists per game.

I'd like to see:

Rubio (36) / Ridnour (12)
Roy (25) / Budinger (18) / Shved (5)
AK47 (24) / Derrick Wiliams (24)
KLove (36) / AK47 (10) / Dante Cunningham (2)
Pekovic (32) / Stiesma (16)

I don't trust Shved as of now. I would only play him consistently if Roy gets injured. He's got to earn every minute.

Btw, yes, I don't like Barea. I know he'll get minutes but I just don't like him unless the bench can't score and we need a ballhog who can score the ball.

Barea's not a bad player, but can be frustrating to watch at times. I actually see a lot of similarities between Barea and Shved.

Who is Shved most like in the NBA? In highlights he looks like Brent Barry, but Barry was a deadeye shooter and had unbelievably high BBall IQ.

So perhaps a poor man's Brent Barry?

I would venture to guess:

Rubio (36) / Ridnour (12)
Roy (20) / Budinger (20) / Shved (8)
AK47 (24) / [24 Flex minutes between DWill and whichever SG is hot]
Love (30) / AK47 (12) / DWill (6)
Pekovic (36) / Love (8) / Stiemsma (4)

Subs/Injury reserve/Blowout games:
Dante Cunningham
Joe Barea
Malcolm Lee?

Obviously, really depends on Adelman and matchups on certain nights.

Ye gods, can we get this party started already? When does camp start? 3 wks? Come on.....

OK, When Rubio is healthy..

Rubio/Ridnour/Barea
Roy (20)/Shved (20)/Buddinger (8)
AK47 (25)/DWill (15)/Buddinger (8)
Love (33)/Cunningham (10)/DWill (5)
Pek (30)/Stiemsma (15)/Player X (3)

Basically I predict the DWill to the 3 move is for real, with a lot of learning and bumps in the road, but with a commitment from the DWill to try to make it work. We will see a lot about how coachable he is this year.

Cunningham I think is more than capable to backup Love at the 4.

Roy starts and plays crunch time with Shved getting lots of minutes in the middle.

PG minutes very similar to last year when all 3 were healthy.

Barry is the best comparison I've seen yet.

I'd be a little surprised if some of these numbers came true.
-- I would expect Love to play more than 33 mpg, I mean, do young superstars ever play that few of minutes? Unless Love is the Player X.
-- I feel like Bud, as an Adelman guy, is more likely to play more minutes that Shved in his first year, as Shved acclimates to the NBA game.
-- I dunno if we would play AK that much money to play that few of minutes. I'd expect closer to 30 mpg.

Remember Bob Sura? Shved is a lot like him.

Or Love/AK/Bud, or Pek/AK/ Roy, etc.
