Re: Lakers sign DJO
He might not make the final roster, let alone be part of the rotation(don't think the contract is guaranteed)

6'2 and 212 pounds. He will be the perfect guard for the defenders. I do not see him making the team. Maybe some time in the d-league or over seas.

It won't be guaranteed, I wouldn't mind seeing him get in the rotation he'll be good for the highlight reel, he'll be like the new Shannon Brown but with less minutes.

The bench is pretty much set. Hill, Jamison, Ebanks, Meeks, Blake/Duhon

I don't know much about Duhon is he really as bad as I've heard Magic fans say he is?

I want him as our 12th man to warm the Staples during garbage time.

He's a serviceable backup that can hit the 3ball.

For a backup PG(3rd PG)...yeah maybe
But the primary backup....no way

I think Johnson-Odom will be better than Meeks.
Better defender of 2s and 1s.
Better spot up shooter.
Better game breaker.
If and when J-Odom proves he can guard 2s, I thik Meeks we'll be an after thought.
We'll see.
... if they get Barbosa, I think Barbosa and Johnson-Odom are the two best backup guards on the roster ... unless Duhon is reinvented.

Re: Lakers sign DJO
I like his skill set, saw a lot of him in college. But he won't be on the roster, more like D-League. He didn't even outplay Darius Morris in summer league, Morris was out best player in summer league and he isn't even fully ready yet.
For the first time we can send some guys down to the DL and let them ball out, grow some as players and when our roster spots open next season these guys will be ready to put in some work. And we're eventually getting younger while developing players.

what would it say of your claims if DJO doesn't even make the team? How do you just throw out these djo better then meeks stuff when DJO hasn't even played 1 official NBA game yet? He looked HORRIBLE in the summer leagues
