We still have a lot of work after that game. I wish we had acquired Manning. Our defense didn't look at all like last years team. Losing Ginn could be a big problem.

No Aldon Smith and NaVarro Bowman, so I can't be that concerned.

The defense was missing some tackles and blowing coverages though. They do need to work on that.

I hope they're just playing vanilla, and not to their full ability. Harbaugh did that last season which had me worried at this time too, and we turned out alright.

Week one Manning sure looked great. Smith was good, but he's no Manning.

manning looked great. but so did alex. if we had paid manning that kind of money, we would be losing some key players. i'm glad we went with alex and was able to add depth and quality to our existing team. we're the most complete team in the NFL. can you dig it? GO NINERS!
