I like Budinger but I don't like Minne's crowded 3 spot. Ak47 will start, plus minutes for Derrick Williams, you need Roy to go down with an injury to get more than 10-15 mins. Per game I think

Bad thing is that he just isn't that productive even when he gets minutes. Not a bad pick here though.

boooooooooooooooooooo

kidding aside, Roy is way too optimistic and confident about his knees and I somehow believe him. no I didn't believe T-Mac wold be able to play more than 20 minutes at a high level at all and I was right, but Roy is so young and he rested those knees for almost 1 and a half years and also he looked good in some mediocre level games as well. and he says he doesn't have swelling as long as he puts ice on his knees before practices and games for some time...

other than that, Minny is crowded yeah.

Derrick Williams will get 10 minutes at sf and 12-15 minutes at PF.
Roy if healthy will get 30 minutes at SG
Kirilenko will get between 28-33 minutes at SF
Ridnour will get 5-10 minutes at SG (at least after Rubio returns)

but Budinger still has 20-25 minutes to carve out. so not a bad pick at all and if Roy goes down, Budinger can become top 80, which will sink my team and Sk1p's team will get a nice boost.

My Team

pg - westbrook
sg - paul george
g - chalmers
g - redick
sf - supercoolbeas
pf - z-bo
f - budinger
f - novak
c - greg monroe
c - deandre jordan

What will determine my season

1) Can Beasley "breakout"?
If he can put up 20+ and 7 rebounds in Phoenix and show why it was debateable between him and Rose, my team could be in pretty good shape

2) Will Z-Bo bounce back?
With an off-season to rehab I'm betting on him returning to 20/10 form.

3) Will George & Monroe continue to improve
Paul George finished the season top 40 putting up just 12ppg.

Monroe likewise, while tapering off a little the final 2 months of the season.

If both can finish top 35 I'll be happy.

This year I did not take any aging vets (Z-Bo aside). Going with all upside picks. A little bit of a departure from my usual strategy of playing it safe. Still a few more picks to go....not very high on my last few picks but I think they'll all get minutes and put up good 3PMs.

got 15 managers picking ahead of me and I have a list of 12 players that I'd like to pick at 214, but 2 out of the last 3 picks made were on my list, so I'm a bit worried that none of my shortlist will be available at 214.

And even more so, I just read he's a Beatle Fan. And anyone who looks for inspiration from the 4 guys from Liverpool is bound to be a winner.

He's not even Houston's number one rookie power forward. I just drafted that guy.

Not only that he should get Center eligibility and see plenty of time backing up Omar Asik.

I've got news for you The Man, but I've been following the rookie situation in Houston (they were my local team during the Summer) and particularly Monteijunas. When he's not backing up Asik, Monteijunas is widely expected to spend some time in the D League. In fact, most consider White the most talented rookie they have. His emotional issues are the primary concern.

Ahhh...if only Summer League = Season Success.
(I would post player names who stood out in SL the last few years but they haven't been picked yet 8-) )
