I thought it was my internet connection honestly. USC wi-fi has been painfully slow since I got back yesterday.

Seriously? It was incredibly bogged down last night. It's mostly better now, but I couldn't even buffer videos or anything.

Even after midnight it was horrible. It's happening again right now. It took a few minutes to get a post through a few minutes ago.

Dunno then, I haven't lived on campus since freshman year so I won't pretend to know what it's like anymore. I know it was impossible to watch Youtube videos or play PS3 online so I can bet with more students on campus it'll be a bit slower.

Are you in one of the older dorms, or one away from campus? That might be playing into it too

It was definitely slow on this page, couldn't even load some threads. Boxing and MMA and Media Lounge are the other boards I visit and they seemed fine. Imagine there were some kinks from the Friday maintenance or whatever.

I'm in a NFL knock out tipping comp (ya, I know....). You can only pick a team once for the season.

My theory is to try and pick the bad teams early to get them off my board and then finish the season with the strong teams still in play for me.

Based on this, I picked the Bengals over the Browns - mainly just to get the Bengals off my board.

This week I was thinking about going against the Browns again and this time going with the Bills.

Good move? Bad move? Is there a better pick I should be looking at?

There's just so much uncertainty about who is good and who isn't early in the season that I would take a stronger team over a weaker team right now, at least in my opinion. Also look at schedules. The Saints don't have another lock the rest of the season, with the only winnable game @ Oakland which is tricky since its far from home. I don't see how you could take the Saints the rest of the season against any other team in an eliminator pool. The KC Chiefs are very clearly the worst team in the L and are in total disarray, and are coming to New Orleans who isn't going to go 0-3. I'd trust the Saints over the Bills. The Browns almost upset Cincy in Cincy last week

make sure you pick teams at home. i would never take a road team in one of those types of pools regardless of how ridiculously lopsided the matchup appears on paper.

Yea, I check it out again every now and then and still get pretty consistent chuckles. Timeless stuff. Wish there were more classic GTs in there. We did end of the season "best ofs" in the past and had some of those compiled. Nostalgia...
