Head-to-Head works as follows: Each week you are matched up against 1 other team in your league. Every player who is on an active roster spot (read: not on your fantasy bench) will accumulate points, rebounds, assists, etc. for the entire week. At the end of the week you will compare the total number of your points your players had to your opponents points, your total rebounds to your opponents rebounds, and for each statistical category you have the edge in you will be rewarded 1 point.

In standard head-to-head league If you won 4 out of 9 statistical categories in a week you would get 4 wins and 5 losses added to your total score / standing.

Hope that helped, if not let me know and I'll post a simplified example (but long story short is that a player on your bench does not accumulate stats for the days he is on the bench).
