With a healthy Chandler and Gallo, and a newly acquired Iggy, I'm wondering what type of role Brewer will play this season. Last year he played majority of his mins as a backup to Gallo and Afflalo, and even started several games when injuries hit. He was able to average just under 22 mpg and put up modest numbers - 8.9 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.2 spg.
He is a player that can get hot one quarter, than shut down an opposing PG, SG or SF. He brings positive chaos to the game and often generates extra possessions just from his hustle and energy which the crowd and other players feed off.
With GK wanting to play 'fast ball' this season, I feel that Brewer fits in perfectly and compliments Ty, Iggy, Faried and McGee well.
Of the 224 FGs that Brewer made last season, 60% of those were dunks/layups. Of those dunks/layups, 80% were assisted. Brewer is regarded as one of the best runners/cutters in the league and should flourish again this season. If he can consistently hit that open corner three ball, he will be even more valuable.
Minutes wise, I would expect him to get 6-10 at SG and 6-10 at SF, some games minimal minutes, some games DNPs, some games 20+. With Al Harrington gone, I see Wilson Chandler getting majority of his minutes at the backup PF spot and splitting time with Brewer at the backup SF spot. With Afflalo gone, I can see Brewer getting limited minutes at SG behind Iggy. Some games he will play, and some games he won't depending on what is needed at the time. He is one of GK favourites and I expect him to have another successful season, and hopefully he is signed for a few more years.

If he can shoot 35% from three I will be very happy with him. like you said he has great shot selection.
I want to see Jham though. Im worried brew wont shoot 35% and take mins from Ham.

Yes, I think Jham wants minutes to, but he will have to have a pretty impressive training camp and pre-season to persuade GK for him to get minutes over Brewer. Jham could easily shoot 35% from three, but its the other things that are stopping him - defense, running, making the extra pass, getting to the FT line. He cannot just rely on his outside shooting and expect to play long minutes. Will be an interesting battle though thats for sure.

Of course, if brewer out plays him, then he out plays him. I just think Jham is someone we need to develop now that AAA is gone.

We're going to get slaughtered in the playoffs if he's the backup 2 and not Hamilton.
Teams will just sit in the paint and not bother defending the 3 like they did last season.
