City and budget should not matter. I feel like its an unfair advantage to anybody who is lucky enough to be apart of a big market team. So if somone ends up with pick 25 and a low market team like New Orleans, then that gives that GM a pretty **** ty chance to win this competition.

I wont be judging that way, and if thats the way people are gunna do it, then it should have been stated in the begining.

I feel pretty good about my rankings. You have any questions or bitching, I'd like them directed at me. No subliminal bull. And no there are no "real judges". We're all **** posters on a message board.

Props for posting, and appreciate the nods in categories although I feel my salary cap situation is better than the Warriors but the fault is on me for not putting down exact numbers for my team salary. Anyways thanks for posting.

I got to get off my lazy butt and do my own rankings.

Let me preface this by saying- it's nothing personal bro...

I dont want to seem like the delusional poster who thinks his team is the best. However, if ANY poster, analyst, etc ignores a group with 4 or the 5 starters who are KNOWN for being great defenders- they don't need to be judging.

I refuse to spend 100 posts trying to make a point that in most cases wont result in one side conceding in the argument. Nonetheless, Go look at Garnett's 2012 play-off numbers. Off the top of my head he had TWICE or almost three times the amount of double double's over Bynum and NO OTHER PLAYER CAME CLOSE. Faried, as a rookie went NUTS in the play-offs. Charmers, as much as MY KNICK board be littles this guys is one hell of a defender and THREE POINT shooter. Pierce, another great defender... Which leaves Harden who's probably my worst defender as a starter. Not to mention, MY BENCH... There shouldn't be a question about what tier my DEFENSE is on.

So there...hopefully you see where I'm coming from Fury and any other poster that took offense to what I said

I don't like Harden, Pierce, and Faried aP defenders.

You have a point about your bench, but your bench, so who do you think your better defensively in your top 5? I even said that was the toughest category.

Also, if that's it, then I feel even better about my rankings.

WORST:

this is why they don't allow the celtics players officiate a knicks-heat game. There are refs for a reason to provide (what is suppose to be) a fair objective officiating.

And while defensive rating is a nice tool, it's helped by being on good defensive squads.

well yes that is true.

i just have fun building the team. I appreciate when my team get love and try to build the best team (also try to change up my style to see how I can build a new type of team). But the judging is all subjective so its tough to pick a winner in a "fantasy" type system.

Unless you play the games you will never truely know the winner so its all opinions and projections anyway.

Not that I disagree with your judging i was just saying people build there teams thinking they have the best team unless they are voted at the top someone is going to bitch

I know people have worked on their team a lot and feel good about it, but the thing I don't get is why people bitch so much. If you like your team, then just be cool with it. I could get if someone is making your team out to be something its not (like calling Shumpert a bad defensive player), but otherwise even if you think that your team can take another team, that doesn't mean you're entitled to others thinking the same. Bashing people based on that and having these long winded discussion after that is why I didn't do my rankings (started doing them when Willy made his). Just too much of an unnecessary hassle.
