spreadsheet updated:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... 3dFb0VkWkE

and with that my team is more or less done (in more ways than one). I've got a list 12 long for 272 but I'm not expecting that player to stick with my team. Heck I'm not expecting some I already have to stick with my team.

btw, when can I drop Frye and add a player? Obviously after tk picks at 281, but how long after that do I need to wait?

No time at all. As soon as the draft is over, add/drops begin.

let's see if a good rebounding and shooting big can get some solid playing time on a centerless team...

Is the draft over at pick 280, or is TK's '281' part of the draft?

No, you have to wait until after the draft results are entered to Yahoo! and the waiver period is over.

So far the commish has indicated that is not the case.

Commish doesn't have the power to change the rules. In the past, things have worked out the way I explained.

In reality, the commish can do whatever he wants. We may have a tradition of the commish not changing the rules, but the commish can enter the lineups into the league however he wants and we can't stop him. Not trying to argue with you, just pointing out that if the commish bucks the tradition, we can yell about it but we can't stop it. So I will be going by what the commish says, unless and until he says otherwise.

Commish can't just do "whatever he wants". This is not Money league.

(And the tradition is that majority of the league should approve any rule/implementation changes).

There is such a thing as "waiver priority" to deal such a matter. How come you can jump in front of everyone else even though you don't have the #1 waiver priority?

Woody, I'm not saying I can jump in front of anyone. All I'm saying is that the commish is the guy who answers this question.

Since there is no pick 281, I'd say the draft is over after pick 280 is picked. Whether free agents can be picked up immediately following that pick or once players are entered into the system is any other question. I thought traditionally it is after players are entered and a waiver period passes.

I don't think that's the way it was traditionally done.

My friend woody you are wrong this was made I think last season and players got to post their picks after the draft is done
why? simple because you can´t enter a team in yahoo if they have -1 player

Bww is saying the correct thing here

Pickins are really getting thin now. After about an hour and a half of searching I finally have a 1 man list.

Lets see if it can make it through 3 picks in head of me or not.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
