I'll just put about 15 games online and make a big profit off those and sell some of you guys 5 to 10 games at face value or cost or whatever and go to the rest and reap the benefits for the playoff tickets, upgrades if I so choose and season ticket holder events.
I just massively overpaid for first game tickets, but i needed to be there. It was a late birthday present for me anyway, and my wife was talking about dropping $600+ and I was like "no, that's too much". We settled on two Upper Deck tickets (Section 231, Row 2) for $214 a piece. This is the only game I'm going to for the entire season and there's only 1 first game in Brooklyn so I had to be there.
However, I talked the season ticket idea over with my wife and we both agreed to wait til next year to get season tickets. Depending on the Nets success, there may not be any available lol.
The one good thing about not winning a championship this year is that season ticket prices won't jump like crazy next year.
EDIT: Btw, the cheapest season tix available now are $35/game ($3080/season) and there were only two pairs of upper deck tickets left that are available.
