Strong chance Dwight ready by opener

Great news fellow Laker fans, Wojo article states he being told Dwight feels about 85% back to where he was before. No rush really though I'm pretty sure we all want him 100% ready before he hits the court. But this is some awesome news.

Good news...if it's true I'm almost certain he'll reach that extra 15% in a month's time, when the regular season starts

I just want these guys to get used to playing together and build some chemistry towards the long haul. I believe once everybody accepts and knows their roles were gonna see some awesome Laker basketball being played

I'd rather he sits out the first week or something just to be totally safe...unless he's healed several weeks before the season starts

It would be awesome to see him out there on opening night! he won't though unless he's feeling 100% (as he has said more times than I can count)

Right I'm with that, but honestly I think the guy is in better condition and shape than is being let on. Probably don't wanna set expectations to high with fans to only have a setback somewhere along the line.

I rather him be safe in all honesty. Though I'm excited as hell regardless.

Howard said he's not coming back until he can give 100%, so the fact that he's aiming towards opening night is a telling sign. Although if he were still in Orlando he'd be out til sometime 2013. Funny how that works but I'm not complaining.

the mavs on paper look great for a run at the 4/5th seed and that would play right into a WCSF matchup

collison/west/beaubois
mayo/VC/west
marion/VC/dahntay
dirk/brand/wright
kaman/brand

love to see dwight destroy that lineup on opening day

Health is a major concern (to me the biggest reason with lost that finals to the Pistons) and I believe a more realistic goal should be about 62-20. That should be enough for us to claim the 1 seed in the West and the NBA with Wade being out for the Heat I think that even maybe enough to claim the #1 seed overall. What u guys think?

we need some energy for the playoffs man, anything that equals more wins than the Thunder & Miami is good enough for home court advantage.
