i remember hearing uke say at the beginning of the game how corey hart is such a great hitter...never trying to jack it outa here all the time, getting hits even way down in the count. 2-3 with a walk tonight. hope he plays a lot more

Players of the Game: The Brewers Offense

Ha ha ha, that's so a "don't worry fans, this offense is still good!!!" statement

well, you have to find the 15 hits tonight encouraging, but this team's offense definitely has things to work on.

Finally!! Fielder's homer was an absolute majestic bomb. That energized the whole Brewer team. Braun relaxed again and we had a great game. Sheets is my player of the game, he saved the game for us. Go Brewers!

How long will it take Brewers fans to realize that Gwynn isn't ready and may never be ready to start in the majors?

he may not be ready now but he definitely has earned a chance. people may also say that he has cooled off a bit but to his defense, so has everyone else for the most part, with the exception of fielder. hes also is the brewers best option at lead off and has a great pedigree in the form of a hall of famer as his dad

If you agree that he's not ready now then why would you start him now? This is why I didn't want Gwynn on the major league roster over Rottino. Rottino is what he is a utility guy who can play multiple positions and is a right handed bat. Something we lack off the bench.

Gwynn should be getting playing time everyday in AAA to see how he does, sitting on the bench here isn't helping him.
