Can Chris Douglas Roberts make the team?

Post#1 » by leeprettyp » Mon Oct 1, 2012 9:50 pm

There was a time that this guy was a promising player coming out of Memphis (although he left college to early). I wondered what happened to the guy. But isnt this the kind of young athletic wing defender that our team could use? Or are we all in on Goudelock, DJO, Ebanks and Morris? Or is he just a camp invite with no chance of making the final roster?

He should easily be able to outplay Ebanks. Ebanks is garbage, I don't know why Kobe has a hard on for the kid.

maybe cause Kobe plays with him on a daily basis and you dont? Funny calling ebanks garbage when CDR has been out of the league for several years and yet he's so much greater then Ebanks? :-?

I'm starting to get the feeling that we're gonna keep Darius Morris around for the long haul. Couple months ago I could've swore that wasnt going to be the case even tho we gave him that guarantee contract. i dont feel to strongly about Morris and his future with the Lakers. Maybe they think he'll learn from Nash

EDIT**

BTW I dont think Ebanks is trash at all I think he's underrated honestly. But I look at CDR as the type of wing player that we can put on those speedy PG's for short durations. But that could be me being greedy and wanting everything on the team lmaooo

I remember hearing rumors of him having a bad attitude and being a cancer in the locker room last time being in the league. Hopefully he has matured.

Green looked like hot garbage during pre-season....I'm glad he got his chance in Jersey but dude got green light to do as he pleases....we'll see what happens now that he got paid and has higher expecation of his play.

Your 100% right, but compared to what we had on that bench last year we definitely let the wrong guy go.

Why are you even posting here? You bash every Laker player besides Nash. This board is infested with "player fans"

if CDR makes the team, i bet it wont be Ebanks out.
I think you guys are too hard on Ebanks... we have a guy that is a decent on-the-ball defender, making steady progress, and will make rosters out there.

And some of you guys will replace him with a dude who probably has zero basketball IQ and has to settle for a camp invite...

CDR is not a bad player at all and I'm surprised he's on the free agent list this early. I remember a lot of us wanting to draft him in the first round in that draft. This should be interesting even for a camp invite but I hope his kit signed at the expense of DJO who actually looks to play with some passion.
