ok, I can't tell if sabonis is in or out. If he's out, pumunga is taking his place. If he's in, he should say so. Making your pick means you are staying in for the duration, so don't pick if you are leaving.

because i'm a bit of a nerd, i wrote a program to take the spreadsheet i'm keeping and generate the "picks by round" text in the first post of the draft thread, and also the "picks by teams" text in the third post of the draft thread, so all I have to do is maintain the spreadsheet and that gets me most of the way towards maintaining the thread.

So if you look at the spreadsheet and it looks weird to you, it's because I've got some extra info shoehorned into it, like which pick a player was picked with, and which trades were involved, if any.

I'm looking to move up if anyone wants to drop down to #25.

you don't have 25, unless there was a trade I missed.

Well, pick 21 sucks. There are about 10 guys I all have ranked equally. While I'm making up my mind, feel free to send a trade offer. I don't feel like holding up the draft with trade talks however, so just send me close to a final offer.

Edit - Woody, just post when you are around and ready to make the pick. Then I'll make mine right before. That way I guarantee I'm not holding up the draft...when you are ready I'll pick right before.

Does this sit well with everybody?

Well...there's 12 guys I like here. I hate picking at the top of a tier, but on the bright side, I'm guaranteed 2 of them! :D

So yeah, I'm new to Roto, and I've read enough to know the danger of drafting a guy that can kill one of your categories because it's an overall score, but I went with Rondo because he'll put me at the top of assists, and he only shoots 2-3 FTs a game. There were probably better roto guys out there, but we'll see how this roto experiment works for me...

With Durant on your squad, I don't think having Rondo hurts you much at all.

Something I've always wanted to try is pairing Durant and Dwight together to see how my FT% shakes out, but the chips have never fallen that way.

FYI - I tried Love and Dwight in an auction roto last year, with mixed results. I wasn't able to compliment my team well enough, as the Love and Dwight pair cost way too much (which is why Durant/Dwight is nearly impossible).

I have never seen a team punting any single stat win a roto league. IMO, you can't punt in roto. You can be below average in certain cats, but flat out punting one will kill you unless everyone else is punting something too.

My all roto team is coming along nicely... Screw Jazz for picking Harden, I would have had the best roto guard combo!
