adrenaLINe stop nut hugging Lin, we get it he is the only good Asian player left on the NBA but the truth is you don't know **** about Lin. Your superiority complex is disgracing Asians all around the world.

Jeremy is on the front page of Guardian's US sport homepage.

Jeremy Lin's stardom may have peaked now that he has left New York for Texas, but the 24-year-old believes that he will get "a lot" better as a player. That would be extraordinary for a man who last season made one of the biggest instant impacts in American sports history, but also necessary if the Rockets are to have any prospect of reaching the playoffs.

For the love of God this. Love Lin but that poster needs to just go post on the Rockets board.

If the kid is in here posting then just don't click on the thread... what's so hard about that? How could the mere existence of a thread that people want closed force people to gravitate towards it, enter it, and then complain about it?

Sham you're a smart kid... you know what the hell is going on here why... why bother coming in here then? Do you feel that you're so important that your presence is needed in every single damn thread?

 This place is hilarious... Close the thread... the regulars are too touchy and sensitive that just reading the thread title rattles them. But the moment you guys start banning people for even mentioning Jeremy Lin is the moment you guys have gone down a path that I won't be able to respect.

If RealGM were real life, it'd go like this

"Hey that guy is having a special presentation on Jeremy Lin and race, wanna go?"

"Son of a bitch. Listen, I'm not really interested but lets stop by and give him a piece of my mind, you in?"

"Sure, man."

As somebody who wants to occasionally discuss Lin, I hope that:

1. This thread stays open; and
2. This thread stays on-topic, as opposed to devolving into racially heated trolling.

i really don't care if this thread stays open, it doesn't bother me. i don't dislike jermey lin. i come in here because it's a topic and i'm curious about any new info. it's why i read any thread. but this f*cking kid has been annoying since he first came to this board and this thread is the only reason he remains. so i'm willing to see it go. f*ck it. it's collateral damage.

This thread will soon be a Felton bashing thread when Lin puts up 22ppg, 9apg, 4rpg, 2spg, and 3tpg.

I am a big Lin lover, but I gotta drop a dime on that school thing. What do Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Steve Jobs and more billionaires/ millionaires you can find have in common? They're all school drop outs. You may have the most impressive education but when you're out of college, thesedays companies value factors such as "ability to work with others" and "personalities" over "top-notch education background". When you're out there in business, or even sports trying to make a living... or killing, "street smarts", "ability to sell/ negotiate", "ability to work with others", "ability to adjust and learn quickly" are the things that truly count. Unless you're the few lawyers/ doctors, education only makes sure you stay at the below average or average income level.

That said, the irony is, since a lot of asians thrive in school, they're creating a lot more middle class people. Middle class (not the rich or poor class) is key to a country's prosperity and economy stability. And we see asian countries emerging economically because of this. While US and Europe are losing middle class people.

Easier said than done. He likes to write in one-sentence paragraphs, which leads to a lot of scrolling.

Hey Knicks Fan - go ahead and send all of the LOF's over to our Rockets board. We're ready for them.

...I'm going to regret this, aren't I?

Seriously, tho - we're ready. :)

Lol. block by omer asik. anyway there rookie lamb i really like. also the white kid parsons i loved him last season. the way he played KD and Kobe was impressive. kobe gave him props twice. hmm lin was solid as well although rocket fans felt he looked just ordinary. he looks faster and he looks more comfortable with the ball in his hands. also he is ALOT more built u can see tell he added muscle in the offseason. see how it all plays out in games. i wanted to see how landry & lowry are doing in toronto but they havent posted videos yet.
