Simple solution don't click the thread. Question why is this on the knicks board

or this which has nothing to do with basketball

Because this is a Lin thread, it's like a foreign embassy, you can't touch the people inside.

Cuz were not going to follow those stories all year long. And it is sickening to have Lin as the top agenda of discussions. And just like those who diss me for rooting for the team in orange and blue. I will criticizes those who follow another player that isnt on the team. It makes this board look like heart broken teenage girls whose mad at daddy cuz they cant see their boyfriend anymore.
Dont use the "why im contributing" line. Because my absence wont make a difference.

Watching them throw tantrums is hilarious....
When player does what he did, how he did it, it's just not going to go away because the owner got his feelings hurt.

So this is what its all about. Lin is the anti-Dolan. He is a cult-like figure for lost Knicks fans to follow.
I dont think Lin is a bum. I think he's good player. I support Lin. I didnt want him to go. But Im over it. You can argue as to whether Ray or Lin is better. What you cant argue is that our point guard corps as a whole is miles better than Lin, Davis and Bibby.
This is the longest OT thread about another player. It's unprecedented.

This is the best team (on paper) Knicks have had in years...

This is where I am at. The loss of Lin the player still stings, and I will always wish him the best. I'm over it though. At the end of the day, I am a Knick fan, and I will support the players actually on the roster.
That being said, it has left a mark. It's not so much that the difference between Felton and Lin is the difference between winning a ring and not winning a ring. It's that this was a blatant example of Dolan putting something, whether it be finances or personal feelings, over basketball decisions. It is something that is systemic when it comes to this franchise, and something that will always be an obstacle to us winning it all.
We could have had this exact roster with Jeremy Lin on the team.
