IM ONE OF THE GUYS WHO WAS BASHING THE F.O. AND ALWAYS ROOTED FOR LAMAR ODOM.

the bottom line is that he's an amazing player. if the lakers bring him back, it would be crazy to think he wouldn't fare well with LAL.

he was the sole glue guy and he stood up for his teammates. he was always the one pumping the team up in huddles, he never backed down from anybody.

i admit he didn't give it is all every game, but when he did, he was considered widely as the best player on the team. throughout every playoff series, lamar odom was always considered an X-Factor because we knew if he showed up to play, it would be hell for the other team, and a lot of times LAL raised hell.

regardless of us landing nash and dwight, lamar odom was, is, and always will be a laker for life.

Maybe they didn't care about him putting weight on because he's going to be spending a lot of time at back-up C. Jordan is alway hurt and Turiaf and Ryan hollins are their only other bigs.

sign me up also, as a PAST ODOM BASHER! My favorite threads were those O-DUMB threads about his boneheaded plays he used to have. But . . . he changed his ways and turned it around, imo, during the denver series when we won the chip against orlando a coupla years ago.

Since then, ive backed him up. The bottom line, we needed him, and he was SUCCESSFUL IN HIS CAREER ONLY AS A LAKER. unfortunately, he shouldve thought of that, when he made his decision to leave here. He was successful only with kobe and pau, comfortable with them, won with them. Now as the pictures seem to show, it doesnt seem he has the desire to drive his body and mind to the success he has had only here as a LAKER.

Bryant and Jackson wouldn't be able to salvage Odom. He's always been mentally weak, and it's worse now than ever before. It was worth the effort when he was young and athletic. Now, he's a lost cause for any organization.

I was one of the one that was mad as all hell about that trade but the reason for me being mad was because they traded him to a team that sent us home the year before. I was also one of the many people that wanted him back, I love Odom great gule guy he was happy here with us. I see that is was really Odom and draft picks for Nash and should've known that our front office wouldn't let us down.

I look forward to him helping the Clippers this season but I don't see it happening because his heart belongs to the Lakers

LO is an enigma to me...

I was frustrated by his often inconsistent play and seemingly inconsistent committment.
I was pleasantly surprised by his break-out 6th man year.
I was astounded he married Kloe, and became part of the reality show.
I was surprised we traded him. (I thought he'd retire a Laker even though I wasn't very happy about that)
I was shocked the trade was blocked.
I was surprised again when LO continued with his trade demand, and was mildly surprised we traded him to Dallas.
I was bemused by his horrific year in Dallas.
And now I'm surprised again that given another shot in LA, it looks like his commitment isn't quite where it should be...

All of this, I don't really need as a fan, so all in all, I'm glad he's another fan-bases issue.

I'll always Love Lamar as a player. During our 2009 - 2010 championship runs Lamar was probably my favorite player. I just loved the energy he brought to my team. Its a shame how Lamar parted with the Lakers but I guess this team is better off without Lamar now.

More like it's not happening because he's not physically able to help them, at least not 6th MOTY kind of help. He's fatter and two years older since he was a Laker, his impact will be minimal.
