Just bought it. My first game in the 2k series, and I am horrible.

If you use the Bobcats like me, this is the best line up, call me crazy but it just beat the Bulls haha! Starters have the position next to their names, and numbers next to the name for rotation minutes. Henderson can't do much on this game outside of blocking from time to time.

I've already had 3 triple doubles with him. And these are online games. One game was an online ranked game with only 5 min qtrs. The other two was playing against friends online but we played 8 min and 12 min qtrs. They all messaged me after the game saying "MKG is a beast". I think a lot of people are surprised. He has high hustle ratings so he gets to loose balls and rebounds easier than others...now his jumper is not good so i always finish at the rim with him and after a few layups my opponent collapse in on him which leaves people open for uncontested jumpers...easy assist. We actually have a good 2k13 team if used properly. When I play ranked games and pick the Bobcats, my opponent will sit at the team selection screen as if to say "is this guy serious"...once the game starts and I unleash MKG on them early they realize they may be in for a dog fight.

i always try to make a bobcats association but i always struggle with it because im too attached. i love post offense in 2k games but im not about to trade biz, kemba, mkg, hendo etc for the kinda post offense caliber player i want. so i end up relying heavily on the guards and wings. im about 6 games in (i play 12 min quarters so i only get in 1 game a day normally, 2 if i feel like stayin up late :lol:

but yeah..MKG is averaging about 25/7.5/8 for me. i dont even go for stats with him, i just play the game (i even let Dunlap call the plays usually) and when its over i look at the stats and he just straight up dominates.

Kembas giving me about 12/6 in 27mpg with 43% shooting, much like real life he's kinda my bail out option at the end of a bad possession since he has the shot creator bonus.

Ben Gordon and JT are hitting 45% of their threes, Hendos giving me a solid 17/5/3

I sure hope everyone plays like this in real life this season

Even better - hope that Wiggins declares and draft him!

I think he is a better fit with MKG.

Is everyone else playing a full court press on D? I am and Hendo & MKG terrorize the opponents. They are racking up steal after steal.

I also set our offense to be up tempo with fast breaks and MKG gets out on the break like a champ. Easy fast break points for the young fella and cherry assists for everyone else.

I love it.

I picked the game up about an hour and a half ago and you guys are right...Gilly the Kidd is a damn superstar on this game...he also is money on the open J.

Other thoughts, the motion capture is even more realistic this year and the signature moves add a whole new element to the game.

Current lineup-Second season.

Kemba/J.Jack
Gilchrist/Hendo
Barnes/J.Green
Faried/rook
Biyombo/Dalembert

Also Kyrie has 6 of the 12 signatures and is an absolute killer.

Davis averages 16/10 as a rook.
Gilchrist averaged 16/7/2/2/1

just got 2k13 from gamefly and this is different from 2k12 from a buttons and game play stand point and a little harder than i expected

I think MKG is a bit boring (even though it's Gilly's favourite and it suits for obvious reasons)

Got the game yesterday. Immediately started an association and was immediately offered Kyrie Irving and Harangody for Ramon Sessions, Tyrus Thomas, and a 2014 1st. :lol:

For realism's sake I didn't take it. Plus I wanted to play the season with our exact roster, maybe just swapping out a couple of role players at most.

I agree, in make believe land,signing Oden makes him our best center and he still manages a solid career in 2K land.

I started my first season on 2k13 and have hammered out a few deals, so before our first game our roster now looks like this.

pg. Jrue Holiday, Teague
sg. Eric Gordon, Sefolosha, Carroll
sf. MKG, Ronnie Brewer (74 overall and with decent potential??? crazy)
pf. Milsap, Landry, Bonner
C. Oden, Biyombo, R Lopez

Most importantly I also have Orlando's next unprotected 1st round pick :lol:

I have bugger all loyalty, although I couldn't bring myself to trade MKG or Biz.
The only offer I got for Carroll was Kwame, if I wasn't flooded with bigs I would have considered it.
