Nothing wrong with that.

I'm too conflicted with this Jeremy Lin stuff. I followed Lin after his second year in Harvard because of a buddy who goes there, watched his play in his famous Summer League showout against John Wall, then watched him buried on Warriors behind Curry, Ellis, etc & hoped for the chance that somehow some way he would play for the Knicks, then saw his small playing time with the Rockets.

And of course the Knicks.

Pleaded for him to get some, any type of playing time, he finally did, then he set NY on fire and then there was the "problems" between him & Melo.

It's pretty clear I love the kid but the way some of his fans have gone about protecting him, getting into long arguments & damn near bashing anyone who isn't drinking the Jeremy Kool-aid has led me to wonder if I should root for his failure just to see these fans gone. It's gotten that bad smh.

This is it in a nutshell for me too.

By the way, did anyone secure the cadavers? Because Jeremy Lin no doubt is going to raise the dead and perform other miracles at the guest appearance, so don't say you weren't warned.

The same way lots of people hate not only Kobe but Lakers because of Kobe fan boys and girls.

I do think the main reason why Lin threads go 100 pages is because of the crazies who say Lin is a scrub, Felton is a better player, the Knicks will be a much better team without him. This fuels Lin fan boys like me with rage.

It is not the crazies' opinions that are crazy, because everyone's entitled to their opinion, but rather their seemingly ungrateful attitude that refuses to acknowledge Lin's contribution to the 2011-12 Knicks team, seemingly out of deliberate ignorance because of the perceived "greed and selfishness" for the contract, and even supported Dolan for the decision to let Lin go although deep down they too know he is the **** worst owner in pro sports history who just made his worst decision.

they should have just kept the Lin thread...so threads like this would just replace it...

seriously who cares if a Lin thread goes 100 pages... that in itself would tell you people will still be posting up...

at least people would have a option not to click on it...

now we will get heat for threads like this one...

Don't we still have threads about Lebron ever so often? He's not a Knick either. Like Lin, he's somebody we thought would be a Knick.

The **** Dolan thread will be closed soon, too, I'd guess.

You want to talk Rockets, either use the around the NBA threads or go to their forum. It's simple.

How long did your infamous rise power take? A couple of months... Why don't you just go ahead and close the Dolan thread now? Why wait? Come on youngin... you got the juice... use it.

WHat you need to do is just start banning people for even uttering the name Jeremy Lin... that's manly.

You don't like it, pm me. Also, us mods do talk about threads, you know. Feel free to message me to continue the combo.

Just going to toss in my 2-c real quick. People are going to bring Lin up here, good or bad. Instead of locking the Lin thread, whoever was doing the trolling should just be suspended/banned. This thread wouldn't exist if the Lin thread wasn't locked.

Don't forget, once a Knick, always a Knick - it's on the jersey. :D

For those wondering how it went,

My thoughts for the workout. Lin was quick. Didnt seem like that he had any injuries. And he still has it. he split the defenders. He's got calls. With that said, I think he needs to protect his body when going to the basket. He was falling hard. I mean..not too hard but yeah..He had some steals, some assists and he hit some jumpers/3's. He was strong going to the basket and running the fast break. The rockets are going to be fast paced. But they're too young I think.

Everyone was given like a little postcard and they kept on announcing that the players will only give autograph on that but when I got to Lin, I showed him a poster that I made. He smiled and shook my hands and autographed the board. So that was nice of him. I also brought a basketball. Just about every Houston Rockets signed the basketball. Lin was specifically instructed not to sign and he was taken to the bus with security whereas other players walked up and talked to the fans and signed tshirts and what not.

Lol. Odd that they wouldn't let him sign the basketball. yeah i am actually now watching some of the camp vids for the rockets they are going to do a ton of running & lin will be playing on & off the ball a lot I think. they have a lot of guys that can handle the ball in tansition so it will b an interesting team to watch. that will def cut down a lot of lin's turnovers cause he was turnover prone in transition. they are definitely really young wont win a lot of games but they will b an exciting team to watch i think and if there rookies develop nicely who knows in a few years thanks for sharing homie good to know that he signed your board.

What's that all about? (instructed not to sign your basketball?)

Anyway, congrats on your big day! Sounds fun.

I dont hate the story I just hate the fans reaction when he left. He went for the money fine dolan did not match him bfd. I say this because for the money they are paying he may not be worth it. His numbers will be high because of the amount of touches he will get and is the second option on that team.
The reaction after 25 games and he got injured was he was the second coming. 25 games......... Marketing great story BBall player maybe nothing more then average no one knows.
Quite frankly I am tired of seeing lin crap here If I wanted that I would go to the rockets board.
I did not start hey I met spolstra thread at work last week when I did.... why because he is not affilated with this team and why waste the bandwidth

aren't you reactiing the same way as those fans that u claim to hate. lol. between the making of the lin threads and the complaining that lin threads are made. like whats worse people complaining or people complaining about the people that are complaining.
